Giving AI an trading vessel

Heyo!

It just came across my mind - it would be nice if AI could fly somewhat a trading vessel, maybe not the 5ker itself but something smaller? Any traders I've encountered were using cruiser for this purpose aaaand it isn't the most suitable thing for trading, is it?

Aye, but according to the fact that they have both a snub and cruiser, a simple transport with up to 3600 cargo space would be pretty nice.
Somewhat robot-based container transport or something like this

Vessels carrying this quasi-lawful ID are controlled by an Artificial Intelligence, who :

Can attack any ship in self-defense or in defense of another AI ship.
Can attack any ship in systems that do not contain a jumpgate.
Cannot attack transports and freighters, except in self-defense.
Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo.

Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, AI Cruiser

Well the ID can use transports just like the Freelancer ID can. So an AI can fly a DL or Serenity. I don't thing the AI's need their own transport but it's not a bad idea anyway.

Just like with many other things - implementing it is a good idea and would definitely be beneficial to AI, but there are other things that are higher priority at the moment so it's not getting implemented anytime soon.

Just wait there. An AI Harvesting Frigate might work something like Salvager as a Transport vessel to explain inRP. But just a plain out AI Trading Vessel wouldn't make sense. We'll see into it about a request, but first things first, let the Devs rest a lil.

with ai -engine, -thruster, -shield gen and [5-7 gb or 11 transport]-turrets, :-))

Or one like the whale :-) instead of weapons: a speed of 135/395, 4k and can dock in house sovereign space?

whatever. freighter, salvager /raba style, or 5ker .the ai at least need trading vessel.
