Excuse me if I distract you from the important things, but this is the matter of highest priority.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Emilia Young also known as "Charm". I'm working for the 6th department of the Liberty Security Forces, our duty is c-espionage, prevention of sabotage and struggle against the corruption within the ranks of the Liberty Navy, Police and our Security Forces. As you understand it is not in our rules to appear on the public, even when it comes to highest ranks. I'm happened to be the curator of your Battlegroup in this department for several years and I'm afraid now there are a good reasons for direct contact.
We have confirmed information about the sabotage on your flagship, LNS Harmony. Sabotage hardware is already installed on your ship and includes the explosive devices on the ships engines and power plant, some spy chips on the command deck and radar systems. Next time when Harmony will enter the large combat interaction the spy chips will send the information to saboteurs processing center and the explosive devices will detonate the in "natural way". Whole affair will just look like a critical hit.
That's all information you need at the moment. I hardly suggest you to immediately conduct a full technical inspection right there.
You sure understand that I am quite busy now in handling the whole situation. Thank you for notifying us in time.
At this moment we are moving away from any major installation and bomb squads are already on their way. I do have to say that I am quite surprised to have the LSF watching us so closely. Is this because of the operations we ran for you? The whole crew knows the importance of these and hasn't shared anything. But that doesn't matter now.
I am very curious though as to who had the means to do this. Our security protocols aren't lax and not everyone has access to the places where you say the charges are placed. And how did you find out? Have you been on the Harmony? I would appreciate if the LSF would tell me next time if there are agents on board.
I am sending another transmission once the situation has been handled. I hope you have some answers for me then.
I guess you didn't know a away how to defuse these? Because that would have been very damn helpful! One of the charges went of and ripped a huge hole in the starboard side of the Harmony. One of the observing Navy ships has footage of that. Here look at this.
It appears as if the charge wouldn't have been capable to destroy the section. If there weren't more bombs that we managed to defuse I would say this was only meant to scare us. But it doesn't change that people died and it won't make us back down or anything of the sort. The bomb squad obviously didn't make it and there was still a few non evacuated personell on board. I hope there was no way the LSF could have prevented this or I might rethink the good relation we have.
I am currently in LIBCENTCOM on Manhattan. The Harmony will be moving to Norfolk for repairs if it doesn't need to be towed. I want to talk to you. I need to know who did this and I want my answers and a full briefing. ASAP.
Please accept my sincere condolences in due to death of your crew members, today I grieve with you. But to be honest I am really disappointed with the work of the Naval sapper groups, this task was not suppose to be extraordinary. Apparently we need to organize wide inspection of the sapper units and rearrange normal operation of these.
I'm afraid I can't answer all your questions for now, because the information is classified. However I will send the request to my command right now, so hopefully up to our meeting I will be able to answer on those. For now I can only explain some basic things, things that I was allowed to say. First of all I never was on the board of Harmony, since it just was not in my range of tasks. My job is to collect and analyze information, I'm not one of those commando that you probably saw, those guys are working with Navy quite often. I'm also not one of those abstruse scientists that you also probably met. My only task is to conduct necessary analytical work in order to provide the security to your particular battlegroup. And yes, your Harmony is one the special list so to speak.
I clearly understand your concern and confusions right now, yes there is a lot problems within the Navy and LSF right now. And I'm afraid those problems are deeper than you think. Most of personnel still are unable to reflect it and it will be way too late when they will. In the same time we can't operate openly, because it will down our efficiency to zero...
Anyway, I'm on my way to LIBCENTCOM, it's better to talk in person.
I guess I'll have to wait until we meet. Fair enough. You did your job and saved my crew and myself. So I guess you earned some trust. I don't like this behaviour but you will soon explain yourself. I am at complex 47. Your visit is authorized. I don't like waiting and I am already too long on the ground as it is.
