I was on logistics duty this day and had just finished a shipment that was overdue. Officer Moe Knox asked me for some assistance in the Bison I am able to command for logistics purposes, to help by transporting passengers as well as any confiscated cargo back to a secure location. I agreed and met him at our impromptu checkpoint at Norfolk Shipyard.
Everything was quiet, our first run-in with a trade regulation breaker ended well enough. They dropped the passengers in their pods and I tractored them and took them to Norfolk, where they could wait for a proper liner to pick them up.
Our second run-in was less diplomatic, since the person consistently spoke the infernal Gallic language and refused to drop the passengers in the hold of their mining ship. As such, we were forced to open fire and take them by force. Which ended in Moe managing to land a critical shot on the mining vessel's engine drives. Killing the pilot and his crew, but launching the passenger pods into space for me to return to Norfolk.
It was a significantly quiet day, and after this we decided to dock and conclude our scanning and patrol.

Standard patrols around New York system yielded two new noteworthy entries. First one involves a confession of a Zoner, callsign Barbax, associating with the Liberty Rouges. Capture was not successful, and disappeared from the scanners once in the Pittsburgh Debris Field. The second event involved a Crayterian liner, callsign CR|-MV-Asclepius requesting assistance against a Rouge Bomber, callsign Marachello at the Texas -> New York Jump Gate. I arrived on the scene, gave warning, then opened fire. An LPI Officer, callsign LPI-Kurt.Reinhardt[RO] began engagements on the Rouge bomber as well. Marachello fled back into New York and activated cloak upon our arrival to reengage him. We failed to capture Marachello as he sensor range.

With the aide of Ensign Hirlerman, I was able to supply Long Island Station with 6 shipments of Reinforced Alloy. During my first run, before I rendezvoused with Ensign Hirlerman, I was engaged by Marachello, a rogue bomber pilot. However, the Fort Wayne's gun crews fought back fearlessly and sent him running. I think it is worth noting at this point that Marachello has apparently equipped his bomber with a cloaking device.
Later, Ensign Hirlerman and I spotted a Xeno Camara freighter (callsign crappy.restaurant). Hirlerman attempted to intercept and I positioned the Fort Wayne to prevent the crappy.restaraunt's escape. Once Hirlerman engaged the freighter with weapons free, I maneuvered to assist with the Fort Wayne's cannons. During combat, Ensign Hirlerman was shot down and the freighter escaped, as the Fort Wayne is not equipped with cruise disruptors. Fortunately, I was able to tractor Hirlerman's pod and delivered him safely to West Point.

As usual, I began patrol in New York, performing cargo scans on passing vessels and ensuring general stability of the area. For whatever reasons, I decided to check the Jump Gates as well, and sure enough I ended up spotting a Rogue Bomber just as a USI Freighter managed to flee the bomber's range. The rogue bomber pilot(For his call-sign refer to attachment) and I exchanged brief words, wherein he attempted to act like it would be outside the law for me to shoot him for attempted piracy. During the time of this chat, the USI freighter pilot docked, got into his fighter and came to assist me.
Together we completely over-powered the rogue and shot him down successfully, neutralizing the threat in New York.
A few moments later, I performed a patrol in Colorado and found it all clear, that is until I noticed a Scylla class destroyer roaming the area in search of easy prey. Callsign "Death Collector". It would not have been wise to engage him without assistance, so I ensured he was unable to exert his influence on any transports and once finished concluded my patrol.

A battlegroup consisting of callsigns LNS-Infinity, [LN]-Reed,Icarus, [LN-ESRD|Reaper and myself were patroling the New York system when Infinity spotted a Marquis-ID Mastodon, callsign The_Jager_Bomber 5 clicks off of the Detroit Munitions Plant. ESRD Reaper demanded him to halt and the Marquis opened fire onto him, and he requested our backup. I was the first to arrive on scene, and gave warning, then opened fire. With the combined tactics of ESRD Reaper, Ensign Icarus, and myself, we managed to eliminate the target, which was hauling Black Market Munitions. I happened to score the killing blow. We accessed the damages and contraband, and ESRD Reaper ordered us to destroy the contraband instead of turning it in, and we complied with swift efficiency. We then returned to Planet Manhattan to repair ship and restart patrol.

Reporting an incident involving a cardamine smuggler I encountered in the New york system, a Freelancer ID'ed Mammoth callsign LOOSEUNIT. The captain attempted to evade me for some time, until he seemed to finally understand he would not be able to outrun my Upholder. When ordered to drop his cargo, he released small numbers of the contraband at a time. Another vessel (callsign DeathCollecter) told him not to release any more cargo, then the LOOSEUNIT completely stopped complying and opened fire. It was at this point that I returned fire with EMPs and my Antimatter cannon, destroying the Mammoth. Once LOOSEUNIT was scrapped, I destroyed the cardamine and continued my patrol after forming up with Lt. Reeves.
Later on we located the DeathCollecter and, with the aid of Ensign Hirlerman and a Liberty Dreadnought (callsign LNS-Infinity), we turned him to scrap. Unfortunately, mine and Lt. Reeves Upholders were critically damaged during the altercation and my guncams of the battle were lost.

Reporting on the Gallic invasion of the California system earlier today.
When I arrived on-scene, it was mayhem. Mostly the Gauls were piloting fighters, but a couple bombers were in the mix. Our forces were clearly outnumbered, but we engaged the enemy regardless. We took heavy losses, especially once the Gauls' reinforcements arrived; gunboats and capital ships. I singled out a bomber and chased it around but was unable to score the kill, as my bullying caught the attention of three Gallic fighters. I managed to lose them in the asteroidal mists and re-engaged on my own terms, but again I was routed by their superior numbers. I managed to lose all but one pursuer, but by that time my ship was damaged and I was out of batteries for my shield system, so I broke off from the dogfight and returned to Planet Los Angeles once the remaining Gaul lost interest. While my fighter was being patched up, I rejoined the battle in my Upholder.
Liberty forces fell back and rallied at Planet Los Angeles. Once we were ready to attack, the bombers led the charge and we scrapped a couple Valors, then pressed the attack to the Magellan gate, scrapping another Valor and a gunboat.
I didn't score any kills but I managed to keep my ship in one piece for the most part. We lost two ships for every one of theirs we blasted. All in all, not a great outcome. But, in the end, the Gauls retreated.
I guess we'll find out soon enough if California has seen the last of the Royal Navy.

Upon beginning my patrol, I was contacted by LSF Agent Cole Hauser and he reported a rogue bomber, call-sign Marachello had been spotted. I found Marachello idling around near the Texas gate and pursued him from there into the thick of the badlands. He said I dreamed of the impossible trying to stop him, but I wasn't just about to let him get away.
It was not a close fight by any means, his bomber was clearly unable to sustain a fight against a fighter and he cloaked and attempted to flee, luck failed him as he ran out of cloak batteries and fell subject to quick hull problems as I shot him down immediately afterward.
While this happened, I observed a fight between our forces in California, the Dauntless commanded by Cole Hauser and the Judgement against a Gallic Battle Cruiser. The Gallic ship was keeping distance and avoiding their shots well but got focused on chasing the judgement, which gave the Dauntless the chance it needed to tear through the Obstinate's shields and very soon also its hull. The Judgement scored this kill, though my gun cam was unable to take any visual evidence of it.

Reporting on the skirmish between Gallic and Liberty forces in the California system earlier today.
I received an emergency broadcast calling for assistance with Gallic ships entering the system, so I scrambled my Upholder. Once in orbit above Planet L.A., I rendezvoused with the fleet that had assembled (A few LSCs, an LABC, a dreadnought, and a carrier, supported by myself and a couple other snubs) and we quickly headed for the Magellan gate.
Numbers appear to have been on our side this time, and the Liberty fleet coordinated beautifully.
On the way back from the gate, one of our snubs intercepted a Rogue fighter, and I attempted to assist in my bomber, but I wasn't really doing much good. So, I broke off and parked my Upholder on Planet L.A. (it needed repairs anyway). I came back to the fight in my Guardian, but my assistance was not needed.

Reporting on the skirmish between Gallic and Liberty forces in the California system earlier today, as well as the events of my combat patrols in the meantime.
I formed up with Papa 8 from the Nevada Strike Wing, and we headed for the Magellan gate, scouting for the main fleet. Papa 8 counted 6 Valors, we made a quick strike and downed one of the Gallic gunboats. I have never been happier to land the final blow on a vessel. However, we were soon overrun with snubs and gunboats, and we fell back into the Tahoe Ice Cloud where our fleet was waiting.
The captains of the capital ships gave the order to retreat back to Los Angeles. While we were formulating a plan and waiting for reinforcements, the Gallic fleet appeared from Tahoe. There was a standoff, during which one of our LSCs succeeded in blowing a Gallic snub apart with long-range missiles. Then, the Valors advanced toward Planet L.A... and all hell broke loose. Both fleets were decimated in the ensuing combat. We scrapped every last one of their battleships, but all capital ships on both sides were destroyed, leaving only snubs and gunboats to mop up at the end. At this point, I was only able to hold my bomber together long enough to help scrap one more gunboat before I took critical damage, and crash-landed on the surface.
I arranged for my fighter to be prepped while I made my way back to the spaceport, and began a combat patrol in the New York system. I soon received a distress signal from Captain Reina of the OSC|Edge.And.Pearl, who claimed to be under attack by pirates in the Texas system. I quickly moved to her location and called for backup. I engaged two rogues, callsigns Marachello and FastGhost, and while I was feeding them plasma the Edge.And.Pearl escaped. Soon, Lt. McCoy appeared and together we vaporized the two rogues.
Lt. McCoy docked on West Point and I continued my patrol. Soon afterward, I stopped a Junker hauling slaves and confiscated his cargo before sending him on his way.
I received a tip about two more rogues at the New York gate in Texas and investigated it. Sure enough, Helium.Devil and Lasting.Damage, a bomber and SHF were sitting at the gate stopping traffic. They intercepted a ship named Yasmir, who tried to run while I engaged the bomber and CD'ed the fighter to prevent it from giving chase, however the fighter was able to disengage from me and ended up fragging the transport despite my best efforts. The bomber cloaked and escaped, as well. I enlisted Ens. Hirlerman's help in chasing them down but we lost them in the badlands.
