I'm sorry but what. Both events provide the same amount of money and points. There is no favourite on our end.
I guess your point is related to GRN having a good amount of above average PVP capable players. Are we really going to start dictating events based on which faction some of the good disco pvpers may join with? At this rate we may as well deny combat events for 99% of the server and simply don't do any at all.

There was even an event promised 48hrs after the first to give everyone a breather but that's nowhere to be found.
None of the Delta factions communicated their intent on the continuation of the delta situation. The admins don't want to force a war if the factions are looking for resolution. These events will resume as soon as the delta factions have made up their mind.
I wanted more Delta stuff. I was just unable to do more things because of the ban. I have like 4 or so Omicron related events planned to link to all the recent activity.
It's okay.
It's a little sad to see the mood after the 1st round (that was admittedly not as cool as the later stages of the last GRN-Liberty event), but in that old event it also took a few days for LN side to organise, for GRN to realize that LN needs a few good players, too, to have fun, etc. We are getting there again. Give it a few days. Furthermore, a few less than fortunate decisions by players were made, some miscommunication etc...

So why not split focus?
I mean, why would Gallia wait at all for Delta to wrap up?
EDIT:
Hi, my name is Jeremy, and multitasking never works.

Still believe there could've been a better way to approach this event.
But I gave you my opinion about it in pm.
Let's see if the community can pleasantly surprise me with a unexpected outcome.

The event was kind of poorly timed, what with this being the first weekend after the Stellaris release and everything, but myself and a few others made an effort to log and provide some sort of ingame presence for at least a short while.
Apparently there was a major buildup after the initial fight, but nobody bothered to tell me about this - or, rather, all I got was some vague mumbling about 'ships at LA'. I didn't mean to skip out before the real party arrived; I didn't even know there was one brewing.
I am tentatively excited for this event, but given the reception and criticism I have already received for simply doing what GRN| has always done and pretty much has to do regarding fleet doctrine revolving around Solaris boats and mixed snubs (we will never have the numbers to mount a truly mixed cap + snub fleet against Liberty unless the winds of indies blow significantly in our way, which is very unreliable), I am already wavering as to my level of enthusiasm.
The skill is stacked on our side, but only because the numbers are overwhelmingly in favour of the other side. This picture doesn't even illustrate the half of it - pretty much all the GRN side is on TS bar about five or so indies, whereas the amount of independent pilots on the Liberty side is as countless as ever. Whatever happens, I won't be apologising for mowing through legions of enthusiastic yet unskilled newbies who take the time to shoot at us, nor will I be offering myself up on a plate like Lyth has to personally address everyone's qualms about not getting a fair fight in brawls that are always hinged on the smaller side being significantly better coordinated than the larger one.
GRN always complaining about lacking numbers yet they still outnumbers people...
That TS screenshot was the buildup of forces after you logged off and here you claim that you were unaware.
The pictures in your feedback could give a completely other story and other context of what was going on.
Your snubs outnumbers and outskilled the Navy but when the numbers changed GRN| is gone, all of them.
Hell the 2 Valors and 1 BC that engaged that Liberty fleet still got about 5-6 kills, go figure.
I really don't think you can argue there weren't more Liberty forces there overall than there were GRN forces, Josia. I know that TS screenshot was taken after we logged off to boot, but it's still very indicative of my point. I am very sorry that nobody felt like logging back on after waiting around for a while for some sort of resistance, and that most of the channel either dispersed to go to sleep or to return to playing other games which we'd been doing prior to the whole shebang anyway. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, I won't be asking either myself or my faction to do anything that they don't want to do.
If you have a problem with that, then I'm afraid we won't be seeing eye to eye any time soon.

Yea SeaFalcon you're right, I just thought to bring the pictures I posted in their feedback here so others can view them as well.
I hate this kind of hypocrisy from the GRN side... You don't have enough forces? Yea, riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Then why the .... you chase my VHF 20k or more with 7-8 players?! Included fighters/bombers and two solaris gunboats - all of them shooting.

Ok then, gank-on, let your members outnumber 1 fighter to hell and back. I am off to play other games or play FL in other solar systems to avoid you people altogether. I am done with this event after seeing this kind of attitude coming out more often than ever.
