In light of the post above, have you recently found this sort of thing more attractive than upholding the high standards of fair play you were so quick to espouse during the GRN-LN event? I know it is much easier to jerk each other off both in game and on the forums than it is to worry about how anyone outside the faction or your group of associates enjoys their time here, but I was just curious to know if you'd had a shift in values.
I suppose it's a rather elegant solution to the previous issue of having to avoid interaction all the time - if you keep these sorts of displays up, people will begin avoiding you of their own volition and save you the effort.
They had their duel there actually and we've had to deal with Commune before, fighting them and a few Liberty carriers that shot us rather than them, in Liberty.
Before we piled up on them there were decent duels, when more showed up we put in more people, when they started to hug bases and planets to evade being shot at we all piled up.
It's a bit of a give and take here. Also, Commune doesn't seem to mind as they tend to come to us.
The above is also @Antonio youtube video. You arrived after said duel and they had already started to hug every base and were abusing the planet atmosphere to evade being shot at.

You know what?
I was writing a 1000+ words post in response to all this shenanigans in the thread, but midway through writing it, I reached an epiphany.
It doesn't matter what I say or what I do. I wasted my time.
Because people are going to keep thinking the same damn way. It's the community. It's Teamspeak. I really hate Teamspeak. It's corrupting people and giving them biased views of things. I've found it really more peaceful now that I've kept away from Teamspeak, more relaxing, which is quite humorous really.
It's also funny because we had more issues than what was being brought to light, we've had issues of people constantly ganking us, playing shady and having suspicious gameplay, going to extreme lengths just to get that win. And now people are twisting the concept of what is really happening just to put a bad light out there.
This community is so tiring when it comes to trying to figure things out. Like I said, it doesn't matter what I write because no one is going to care what *I* think or reason with - but rather, they care for their own reasoning to gain that slight satisfaction of mental victory.
I would so sincerely love it if someone came up to discuss the following issues:
Skill vs numbers. How do you balance it?
When is exterior interaction really an interaction?
What is the appropriate reaction to people who are griefing?
Rumours. Why do people listen to them? Is it even possible to even 'clear a bad name'?

Ok, to be honest here, the last fight we had, where it was a 8vs2 that was just a gank. As I already wrote a 4vs2 would be ok. I know that only Seafalcon and Traxit are your good pvper and the rest is ok - meeee. But yeah, just send 4 people against 2 guys who are better then you instead of 8... because thist annoys us, I mean it's cool to have a 4vs2 so the fight is much more interesting instead a 8vs2 where your member just shieldrunning away.
I hope you understand my point of view and try to fix that problem, otherwise... expect solaris gb's with double missile.

I couldn't quite control the fight as I died when the backup snubs came to fight. Also note that Traxit wasn't in that fight and Seafalcon was in a bomber, mainly to deal with the Gunboats.
Another thing about that fight is that everyone was hurt from the two gunboats earlier. That's another thing. Shieldrunning away? I mean - they're delaying it so that others can focus on a target, distracting the enemies.
Do note that you did join in an existing fight. I did suggest to the people concerning the running centi that someone could 1v1 over TS but I don't think I was heard.
So in essence, dynamic balancing? But how do you take regen count into account?
And pfffsch, that really shows off how great of an attitude people have huh?
Essentially, the problem is that activity creates rage if you are a faction that occasionally has PvP interactions.
Contrary to teamspeak belief we are not a PvP faction. We are an RP faction with sufficient members to engage in large team fights if we are called in. We don't get all that activity from PvP, we get it from wandering around conducting Rp and trade primarily.
This storm will pass as everything settles down and people get used to what we're doing here, and start to understand our lore a little better. However, accusing us of ganking and then dropping caps on fighters isn't a great way to assert your moral high ground. We've even been accused of ganking when half of the A/) online (a good four players) were off in a completely different system RPing with another group, uninvested in the fight going on elsewhere.
The "Auxesia ganks" meme needs a severe rethink by the people who invented it. God help you if you start resorting to more Oorp teamspeak lancer shenanigans like the Corsairs allying tagged Hessians incident.

you mean 1 centurion agreeing not to shoot 1 Hessian because there are 8 snubs piling on him.
lol a titan and a centurion, because that makes it so much more justified.
Quote:He was in the Teamspeak with you, he should have logged a Corsair.
He didnt have one. He had a gaian that was 4 systems away.
which is why he logged his hessian
As I told vendetta and Josia on skype, Gameplay>RP, if you seriously think that he was wrong to shoot the larger enemy before he shot the person that was already being shot by 8 people than I have 0 faith any of this ganking will ever stop.
Srs like if I was on my RHA and I saw 1 corsair getting piled by 9 wraiths, I wouldn't jump on the corsair just because "it makes sense inrp" no thats bullshit, gameplay attitude makes people ragequit not RP.
If you want people to appreciate you more, improve your gameplay attitude. Its the reason I ever got into flying snubs vs using a razor typhoon to solve all my issues. Yes it makes sense for me to razor every snub in NL, but it isnt the right thing to do gameplay wise.
And as for your whole "My players are bad so its ok for us to pile numbers on enemy", no your pvpers arent good in group fights (except josia in a bomber), but you dont need pvp veterans in group fights to win every time. I've flown with average BAF snubs and stomped several gaian raids, corsair raids, and even some GRN raids. if you have 8 people that are average, it doesnt matter how good the person you're shooting is. Wether its me or iber or lambda or josia that person will die.
