As few of you know, Rheinland Military's Hans Krieger has made it to Capitan just recently. He has been cleared by RMHC to command one of Rheinland's Cruisers. I'm not much of a capital ship guy, but I can't deny there's a special flavor to it when your character's story evolves as much as this one's has. So I'll take it anyway. I could just buy the ship and get done with it, but I think of capitals as being potential RP hubs and I wanted this one to be just that. As such, I'm planning not one, but a series of events that will lead to the ship's depart from Alster to its first flight. As I'm spawning yet another capital into our little universe, I wanted to give something back to the community as a payment for my wickedness.
Background:
Newly appointed Kapitaen Krieger of the Rheinwehr has been cleared to command one of Rheinwehr's Kreuzers. The ship destined to Krieger is still under construction at the Alster Shipyards. RMHC has scheduled a military parade in which Kapitaen Krieger will be given command of the vessel.
Even thought the ship is in its final stages of construction, Alster Shipyards is falling behind schedule and Daumann's engineers fear that the ship won't be ready to be presented to the Kapitaen at the day of the ceremony. Daumann's board of directors fear the political repercussions should the ship not be released in time and decide to turn to other companies to supply them with some finished components(1) needed to put them back on track. Given the political scenario(2), Daumann can only open the contract to the Kusarian companies. Kishiro and Samura elbow each other(3) for the contract.
After the dispute, the company chosen will bring the materials needed (Ship Hull Panels and Optronics) from their Shipyards (either Yukawa or Yokohama) to Alster. Even though this contract isn't openly announced, a rumor(4) is spread amongst the pirate/terrorist groups of Rheinland that a new military behemoth is under construction in Alster and that the Kusarians are supplying the Shipyard with components for it.
(1) I decided to go with finished components considering that the ship is in its final stages of construction.
(2) Neither Liberty nor Bretonia are likely to supply Rheinland with materials for the construction of war ships.
(3) I understand that there's a Samura Heavy Industries faction request and that there's a group of players who have Kishiro identified transports.
(4) Certainly there's enough discontent amongst the workers in Rheinland for this to happen.
The KSP could send a couple of ships for the New Tokyo->Kusari border part of the convoy.
If a high threat level is preceived, I assume the KNF could send some Chimearas as well.

Foreign navy ships are not allowed in Kusari without invitation from KNF High Command, but a handover of the convoy in the border worlds would only make it more interesting imo.

That was the idea. If KSP/KNF could participate... And RFP also! Sorry.:$...it would be awesome.
If there is any room for the RHA to participate then I am all for it. We are always up for rallying some Odins from the Corsair battles to go enact some righteous disruption in the Kanzler's war machine:P

You guy's invitation was already named waiting for you to come pick it. Just tell me how many pilots you'll likely bring to this (no need for an exact number, just an estimate).
Well lets see, it would be very related to timing I presume. Most of us are from Europe so if the timing is right there might be close to 6-7 if not more up for the event. Then again if the timing is not right, we might end up bringing 1-2 at max.
I would like to point out that I hardly think the Golden Chrysanthemums willingly would allow Samura or Kishiro freighters to transport such goods specifically for the construction of a Rheinland Military vessel, especially since said Rheinland Military vessel would almost certainly end up being used against the Red Hessian Army, with whom we recently signed an alliance. Besides, we just plain don't like Samura/Kishiro.
So perhaps there is potential for involving the [GC] and/or blood dragons along the route? Either way, failing that, i'm liable to be using my RHA character anyway XD

But just a little thing: So basically, RM and RFP would guard the convoy until the JG in Frankfurt, where KNF and KSP would be waiting for them on the other side? Because RM can't enter 13 and I don't know if you are ok with KNF ships waiting at the border-station in frankfurt?
