You are right, let me express my hope that Hannibal's promotion and Cashew's return will make a change. The current team is quite in need of a few more fresh, active and caring admins. Good luck, folks.
Eh, not feeling too confident appoint the latest appointment.
Furthermore I'd argue it's less about quantity and more about quality. And having more Admins doesn't necessarily mean stuff will get done quickly (we had 9 admins before and things were/are still slow). And having more Admins might mean stuff takes even longer because more people need to voice their opinion on a matter.
Good to see Cashew back. Not a fan of appointing more administrators with poor English, though - particularly so soon after they've just been made Oranges. There are enough communication difficulties as it is.
Then again, I already burnt myself out arguing ways this hellhole could try and pull itself up by its socks. What do I know?
Jesus - if the new admins didn't feel a welcoming of love and support by now, and the desire to make good changes, I don't know what will. At least they knew I was joking with my first post, but... damn.

Because, most of the community members aren't actually very satisfied by the admin's team recent choice. To be fair, I can see a few mods that are more qualified to be admins.
I'll be transparent here, Cashew is really fine; he was an admin before and he knows how to do stuff. But Hannibal is relatively fresh to the whole staff thing, not to mention the poor English.
We've appointed new admins before and aside from seeing a vast slew of freshly processed sanctions nothing really changes in the Staff's workflow nor does the level of organisation and efficiency improve. I feel the latest appointments won't be enough to give DiscoveryGC the ground-shaking changes it'll need in order to survive.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Don't get new admins = bad staff. Get new admins to help the current staff = bad staff. Awesome guys, thanks for the vote of confidence. Honestly, thanks to people like you Lyth, I have taken a break the past couple weeks from Disco because the amount of just plain negativity leaves the desire to improve the organizations and efficiency and address issues barely there.
