FROM: Peter Barrington, IMG
SUBJECT: Diplomatic Initiative
Dear Sirs,
Whereas the Independent Miners Guild is active in a variety of operations involving natural resource procurement and distribution, as well as shipbuilding and technical development,
Whereas our members continue to have family and loved ones currently living throughout Bretonia,
And whereas the Guild has consequencly determined unhindered travel and access to our various facilities to be of the utmost priority,
Therefore, after consultations between representatives at the highest levels of our respective organizations, IMG proposes the following diplomatic arrangements.
Any and all IMG vessels will be permitted access to and safe passage through Bretonian space, upon the following conditions:
1. All IMG trade and mining vessels will halt for inspection upon request from authorized BAF or BPA vessels.
2. All IMG defense vessels passing through Bretonian space will notify BAF or BPA vessels with their intended destination and reason for transit.
3. IMG diplomatic stance toward BAF and BPA will be placed at NEUTRAL.
4. IMG diplomatic stance toward BMM will be placed at UNFRIENDLY, restricting use of force only to situations of self-defense.
5. Any contradiction of IMG diplomatic stance toward Bretonia by any guests or allies of IMG will result in sanctions against those guests or allies by IMG.
Please notify us of your response or rejection via this channel.
Sincerely,
Peter Barrington
Guild Master

Dear Sir,
Your proposed arrangement is acceptable. But be advised that IMG vessels which fail to comply with your self-regulating status will be shown the nearest jump gate.
It is especially imperative that your defense vessels comply. We will regard with grave suspicion any defense vessel which fails to submit fully to the Armed Forces. A failure to provide the required information regarding intended destination and reason for transit shall be harshly responded to.
