There are like 4-5 Marduks in K'Hara, as far as I know.

Must have been real fun firing your guns at generators and snubs.
Conrad, please don't blame it on the Nomad Playerbase. You know damn well Nomads can't field that much shi* as human factions can. FFS, you lead K'Hara for some time.So really, you could have done a better job at balancing, especially after you saw how much of a difference there was in both sides during the sign-up period. Almost a 3:1 ratio, that is ridiculous. You could have limited the numbers a little for the human side and put some on the reserve. So yes, Nomads were never going to win this with how little work went into making the numbers fair and at least giving the nomad side a chance to win. But no, YOU blame the nomad player base after.
I'm glad I was able to participate in the event, it's probably the largest battle I've ever been in (this includes before I took that ~8 year break).
I won't say much as to the Order getting jumped, I just want to know how I died (though for that I'll pm the person who got the kill to ask what they were flying etc). From the dropping of my shields to death maybe some 3-5 seconds passed mainly because I didn't see anything hitting me (just shields disappear in a second) followed by my health bar going down gradually over the course of 3-4 seconds. naturally I tried to use my bots and bats but those didn't do anything. I suppose the game recognized the inputs only after I died. At least we now know a bit more about the load the server can handle?
It was definitely a bit upsetting, I was listening to the rest of the Order players in the TS so I knew what was going on afterwards. And next time I'll definitely make an appearance too, events make playing in this community much more fun.
My only problem is there apparently was a Part 2 we missed. So if events like this could have more direction of sorts, it would be awesome.
And finally...
Make Irra's for everyone, really. The lack of K'Hara| caps did cause problems, despite the Nomad players being able to respawn and reengage. Opening Irra's could help future events, but keep Marduks for the faction only.
EDIT: ONE MORE THING.
Some Nomads didn't log Nomads. Like me, we chose a different faction. As 2iC of Order, I chose to fly the Order for this event, much like Ghost logged LN as he's 2ic. So that does cause unbalancing probably.

Same here. When the second Server crash happened, I reconnected only for my game crash on me twice. When I got back on I was restocked, cash missing, and back where I was pre-event.
One of you PM me if you happened to have blued '[LN]-NV-Papa.2'. I would like to know how it happened. It makes things less confusing.
I was unable to take part in the event but it was a great idea. I'm more of a human unlawful player. Looks like there was some massive balance issues, however. I hope the Nomad players still enjoyed their time. I know I would've been very upset about the lag and imbalance. Although a hand in the balance issues was surely people in Nomad factions having HC positions in house military factions.
- The location was cool. The people that usually play in house space got a chance to see Omicron Major and the Dyson Sphere with their house characters. The Suncrusher and the installations looked awesome, and I got some nice screenshots of it. The latter parts of the battle even took place outside the atmosphere. This event really promoted Omicron Major and I hope, RP-wise, the consequence is more activity there, as the intelligence services should be interested in this now.
- Some people actually dropped RP lines, yes. The beginning of the event was a terrible mess and I honestly didn't manage to read more than some stray lines. But I saw some cool RP behavior in the beginning as well during the end, especially @Durandal did a good job on showing enmity to the Order. The whole Kusarian players acted like they really were into this, protecting their command ship, in the end they died, but hey. Also the Dauntress by @Thunderer was nice, setting up a little capital fortress with the two Rheinland turtles and the Eikyuu. Very nice.
- The targets actually lived long enough, but iirc, the snub targets got shot by capitals mostly.
---
What was not good:
- Eh, many people did the minecraft multiplayer trope:
//laaaaag
It's not like nobody noticed the lag.
- Most people showed no real intention about RP. Or even putting up a real sentence. That's just a little shame. How did people know what to attack? Why did nobody question the sudden gathering of all the fleets? People seemed more impressed by leaving the atmosphere than by the presence of a huge nomad planet killer, or all those Wild-ships. Hey, Wild-ID, so pew.
- What I really found terrible was the fact that some Lolbertonians actually managed to bring additional, forbidden caps into play. Very low, and I hope those guys get a punch in the nuts. The caps that were already present were more than enough. I suggest next time to set the jump holes to snub-only, like the gate in Kansas, and teleport the capitals that registered to Major.
there're a planty reasons why we didn't applied any caps in this event
because there are only 5 people that can fly it. one of them is insta-working, the other one is probably dead and the third one is away, so it's only me and Flash. Rolling two duks against freaking 10 caps? yes, there were only few of them, around 6-7, but it's a suicide.
nomads were outnumbered. like COMPLETELLY. you should had limited human ships according to noms so it would be at least 1.5:1, not 3:1 and not 2 caps for each side.
so blaming nomad playerbase is hilarious, because we did what we could, but it was IMPOSSIBLE. it wasn't even an event, but just a shooting range.
