Honestly nothing has changed (and will not change, most likely) and I'm waiting for Congress/Zoners to do something that causes a drama heap so I can have something besides banhammer tears fueling my Whale
I think we see two entirely different realities.
Check faction activity.
Calculate how many factions are going to lose officialdom or will get warned.
Check the forums for roleplay missions, assignments, roleplay tasks or new story impulses.
A lot has changed.
Substantially to the worse.
And the consequences will become visible in 10 days, when there is no reason to skip the next activity check.

And you're saying that you like to play Freelancer?
If you do you would play it instead of going on "strike" and make the server go down the drain by being inactive.
You're speaking like you don't care about this game. What kind of behavior is this? You're proud that the server is going down ? Never ever seen a worse attitude than the one coming from you and others who say that they play this game because they like it. I don't mind the current problems I keep playing even if I am playing alone because I like this game.
If you like to make things worse just because of 6 players, sure be my guest
but the whole community and server will go down slowly because you stick to 6 players.
The server isn't made of 6 players, it's still high at minimum 30-40 players in the morning and max 80 during the evening. Well if you're proud that you're on strike maybe you plan to bring the server to 6 players / day in order to enjoy it with your 6 friends alone. Go ahead others will be happy to leave too.
Instead of attacking individual people, can we please keep the thread on the topic of the proposal suggested by Garrett and why it is a good/bad idea etc, rather than making your feelings known about other individual players and their past actions. Nobody cares and it just de-rails the entire thread.

Faction activity was heavily affected by DDoS attacks. When forums and mainly game server goes down for several days, it is always visible on the faction activity, especially during summer when people go on holidays and such and thus activity is lower in general every year. While The Sixban and related dramas certainly affected the activity in negative way, it definitely isn´t the major factor regarding lower activity in my opinion - so far I heard about like three players out of many who claimed they will not be active until The Sixban issue is solved, and even they later started to play partially this or that way.

Of course there is - server being down. Activity checks were cancelled in the past for even lesser problems than what we experienced recently. I hope admins will inform the community soon though.
Regarding the OP - I agree with the proposal, it is good idea. But mainly - adminteam should proceed and reach some decision/conclusion soon.

I am not attacking anyone nor I am angry. I don't have any personal grudges with anyone.
I was only trying to explain what I see and that the current measures devs. and faction leaders have taken are bad to the server. If they like this game and server they should play the game instead of destroying it.
They don't care about the server man. They don't think that if they're not playing anymore, they're simply digging this server's grave that way. They're not doing themselves a favor, they play here as well.
To go back on topic I agree with Garett's proposal but I do not agree going back and reevaluate the 6 bans.

Again, nobody cares. This thread is about a proposal to the admins. This thread is not about the dev strike.
Please for the love of all that is good, keep this thread on point.
Keep on Topic folks, intentional derailing will not end well for the perpetrator. If you want to discus something than either find the appropriate thread or create your own. - Mod Team
You say you don't have personal grudges with anyone, yet I'm still curious what your reasons are to justify the banning of those six. You seemed to be quite eager to defend the decision of the Admin Team even though it was carried out opposite to a proposal you are now agreeing with. May you answer those queries of me in an other thread or in PM, this thread suffered more derails than should have.
I fully agree with both the proposal and the suggested retroactive application of it on the case of the recently banned half dozen people. Many believe the current dev strike is detrimental to the server and the mod more than anything else. I believe a seemingly inconsistent, irresponsible, dangerously unpredictable, and occasionally less communicative than preferable Administration Team is at least as much detrimental to the community if not more. I'd prefer a Staff I can trust over one I have to fear.
