During some operational activities in the New Berlin System, i was asked by the BDM agent Karl Batz on assist with the stopping of a transport vessel by the codename ArgRIB-Windlaeufer which acquired and tried to move Daumann sidearms out of Rheinland without a license required by the Rheinland law. The convoy was counting also a second transport vessel, under the flag of RS|RSD-Republican who tried to influence our activities, through verbal and physical provocations and tried to not submit to the orders of detention. After an exchange of views, the transport vessel ArgRIB-Windlaeufer was escorted to the Daumann station where he abandoned the illegally acquired weapons. Short after this incident, it turned out that the pilot who created problems and provocations RS | RSD-Republican, figures in the Rheinland criminal database for repeatedly failing to follow orders of Rheinland officers and the violation of the Rheinlander weapons law. In connection with this violations his presence in Rheinland space is and should be banned. A separate report with the details of the incident will probably be delivered by agent Batz.

Later that day operational activities indicated that another Pilot which flew a "Pelican" transport vessel with a Freelacer ID codenamed brucethecat has aquired Daumann sidearms and wanted to move them through Rheinland without possesing the proper license. I instructed the pilot to a halt for inspection near Planet New Berlin, but he did ignored my order and started to move in the direction of the Dresden Jumpgate using a tradelane, which was witnessed by a nearby minning vessel by the codename Leroy-Miner. I've started the pursuit of the suspect and ordered him twice to cut off his engines, indicating that he is carrying illegal weapons. The pilot did continue his fleeing attempt using another tradelane. When I finally managed to catch up with the suspect, he tried to fool me and started asking questions, trying to start his cruise engine. I have prevented it firing a Distruptor Missle on his engines, but despite all this, the suspect attempted to start the cruise engines once again, and forced me to open fire in order to neutralize him. Almost all the contraband was destroyed, what was recovered was returned to Daumann Heavy Constructions. Log files of the incident are attached to the report

Also a heavy Red Hessian Battleship was spotted in the New Berlin System attempting to shoot the Daumann Station "The Ring". A heavy bomber squadron was called immediately for assistance, but as they finally arrived on the place, the Battleship wasn't present on the radars anymore.

Patrol Report ► Illegal cargo
Erik Von Werner here with a patrol report of New Berlin system. My patrol started from Mainz Storage Facility. While heading to the New Berlin gate trade lanes I have caught a vessel which had contraband in form of nomadic materials and artifacts, which are considered as illegal in Rheinland. I told the pilot to stop his vessel but he refused to comply. I pursued the vessel until it docked at Planet New Berlin. At least i managed to get evidences of his ship and cargo.

New Berlin Patrol Report
Yesterday about the same time as I am writting this report I encountered a Republican Shipping affiliated vessel undocking from The Ring carrying Side Arms. The pilot said he was not aware he was breaking any laws and seemed honestly suprised by that. Shortly after arrival of Joachim Adler the ship was told to pay a 3.000.000 SC standard fine was escorted back to unload all the weapons in The Ring. Although he was told to pay the fine but he ignored it and did not pay.
The odd thing was, that most of the time that I was talking to the Republican transport, a RS tagged ship was there trying to provoke me with firing guns and saying things like weapons free. But at that time I was not aware that he was a wanted criminal

New Berlin patrol report
After undocking from The Ring, a huge wave of CR and IMG transports docked on Planet New Berlin, one of their escorts ( A/)-Tristan.Fresnel) had nomad remains in his cargo. There was a scan of the cargo but it was oddly lost... At first CR escorts seemed annoying but later got a hold of themselves and behaved. Tristan paid a 2.000.000 SC fine for 10 nomad remains and destruction of evidence. A/)-Archangel threatened that he will tell Direktor of BDM of my actions but everything was done by the book.
Shortly after the first incident RNC-Balder got information that a CR transport was hauling black market munitions, so we pursued him from New Berlin to Dresden to Frankfurt and finnaly caught up to him. He was not willing to comply and so he rammed his ship to a planet. CR fighters that were escorting the transport were not willing to comply so we engaged. Shortly after that a Red Hessian battleship appeared so we switched targets. Me(Batz) and agent Adler were shot down by the battleship but got tractored in by RNC-Balder. Balder continued the attack while it done a huge amount of damage to the Hessian battleship, it had to retreat, because it suffered critical damage.

Experimental ship escort from Omicron Theta
Today we had a mission to escort an experimental ship out of Omicron Theta. In this escort mission we had quite a few agents: Fischer, Enfield, Adler, Von Werner, Batz and Argant. We moved from Mainz Storage facility to Sigma-15 trough Munich. Sigma-15 was not fully mapped out but we didnt have big difficulties piloting to the Omicron Rho jump hole. After flying in Omicron Rho we got strange readings on our scanners and moments later we encountered a rarely seen nomad being. He was not hostile and we did not stick around to see if hes capable of destroying us, so we moved on. The rest of the path was without any incidents shortly we were in Freeport 9. After "The Zealous" undocked we moved back. We took Sigmas to get back. We got back to HQ without any incidents.

Sigma-15 Survey
A survey of this system was suggested during the escort operation we conducted of 'The Zealous'. Therefore I thought it best to lay down some groundwork and at least scout the areas of this system that our own comrades patrolled. I'll explain each body of interest I encountered and in no particular order.
Freeport - 8: Not much to be said about this station, I was honestly expecting the zoners to have some presence here since I did catch a glimpse of a few of their convoys nearby.
Hammersee: A colony operated by the Rheinland Government which also houses the police forces that patrol the nearby area protecting the convoys of our people from the Bundschuh and Corsair patrols that frequent the system. There is an operational docking ring and mooring structure, though I did not dock or examine the planet on-foot, since it would have only bled through time.
Planet Juist: An orange gas giant that serves as a good landmark if you're on the other side of the system and wish to find Hammersee. Nothing else interesting about it.
Mecklenburg Station: A resupply point and fall-back for Rheinland Military Forces in the area, it's a welcome sight given the various hostile elements lurking in various corners of this system. I would have docked and refueled there just for the sake of inspecting the utilities available but my fuel stores and ship wasn't in need of anything.
Nordeney: Reaching this planet was actually quite problematic, one false move and the two suns it orbits will roast your ship in seconds from the combined heat. Unfortunately, the effort of getting to it was in vain for it didn't seem particularly capable of anything except serving as a landmark, if oriented properly you can bypass both Coronas of the two suns and take a useful short-cut through the system, if you're willing to run the gauntlet that is, one wrong turn and death will be swift.
Bielefeld Base: I was a little concerned by the large amount of Bundschuh patrols I saw in the asteroid field but then quickly connected the dots and thought they must have a station within the proximity of the field to amass such a presence. My hunch was correct and after circling through the field I came across the base, of course a patrol was sent after me to prevent me from documenting the location it was too little too late for I had already turned and cruised away from their scanner range.
Planet Baltrum: A barren and deserted planet, nothing exceptionally useful or important about it, not even a useful landmark either, it just hangs about in a very eccentric orbit around the binary star system.
Jumpholes: I located three Jumpholes in total, two leading back to the Rheinland systems of Frankfurt and Munich. One on the far end of the system leading to Omicron Rho.
Other: There is a rather large nebula in the system that I suspect is capable of housing a fall-back or resupply point for the Corsair patrols and convoys that pass through here. I decided against venturing in alone due to the obvious dangers of surveying a nebula without a wingman.

New Berlin patrol
During a routine patrol of the New Berlin patrol as Admiral Sterr's wingman, we encountered several hostile forces moving about the sector. The first being a group of overly enthusiastic coalition pilots who fled the moment the odds were even. The second was a smuggler whom I dispatched with utmost prejudice and no quarter. His load of mostly cardamine was destroyed upon the termination of his vessel, before that the Admiral eliminated a Hessian bomber with little support from me. My final participation during my routine patrol was against a pair of Hessian gunboats which were also torn down once the Adenau cruiser under Sterr's command assisted us, the last gunboat was handled by our group of fighters and torn down in the same manner.

Undercover Status Report
I had returned from my special assignment in Bretonia sadly with no important data.
All Bretonian forces I've met performed their duty with a high discipline and most of the trade ships I've encountered got escorts already.
At Freeport 1 there are just the common rumors.
At least I could take advantage of my extended nav maps and I'm confident to render a path to that particular Zoner-group eventually.
Back in Rheinland I've performed a standard patrol following the path of the RM Gefreiter von Kruspe,
leading me to Bremen where I've spotted some Libertonian punks next to the Munster minefield - callsigns 'Shred' and 'Elison'
My scans indicate just civilian hardware and i've informed that mentioned RM office to keep an eye on them.
I'll stay in Rheinland and try to catch a trader/convoy who hopefully hires me as escort.

Scouting Report: Omicron Xi
I won't lie, I didn't think I was going to make it out once I was mixed in and cruising through the system, no matter how incognito I was attempting to be I kept receiving detection warnings. This went on for ten or so minutes as I scrambled back and forth to the safety of a near-by Nebula.
My mission criteria was as follows: Determining the density and amount of Corsair forces within the system.
Locating connections to neighboring systems.
Surveying for potential resource sites.
I shall report on each individually and break them up with whatever evidence I was able to gather during the process of the reconnaissance mission.
Determining the density and amount of Corsair forces within the system: I began this report by stating I was being detected very often, worryingly so. It wasn't easy staying under the radar, but the moment I thought of the word I realized the corsairs must have some form of surveillance over the system, so I began to frequently 'run the gauntlet' so to speak, testing my luck with how long I could run through open space while being detected till I had my break-through.

That is the reason, dotted around Omicron Xi are several Satellites operated by the Corsairs to detect incursions into the system. This one was in orbit around Planet Santorini, I noticed an odd looking planetoid near it, so I moved in closer to investigate it, confirming my original suspicions once I brought up the scanned information on my display.

The name I was able to retrieve was Thira colony. Although the scans I was able to conduct on it were limited, there's most definitely construction going on inside, structural components line this planetoid and they are most likely excavating to hollow out more out of it. It's a rather well hidden installation, had I not turned my head when leaving the nebula I arrived in, I would have missed it entirely.
A very large gas giant of a rather ominous dark color sits in the forefront of the system the moment any craft leaves the nebula. It's more than a spectacle of cosmic beauty, it's a landmark and a means for the Corsairs to hold a shipyard in orbit rather effectively, allowing them to construct ships and deploy fighter wings who may then sling-shot around the minor 'grav-well' caused by this massive body. Upon scanning the planet, I detected that it was charted and dubbed 'Mykonos'.

I think this will hit the nail on the head in determining how concentrated corsair forces are in this sector, I could not approach it directly due to the concentration of weapons platforms and the threat of being detected, but I made do and got a glancing shot of it. As stated in the attachment, it's an installation named "Syros Shipyard". I'm certain it's an active ship yard and pending more ship production, since the dry-docks are already being prepped with new struts to no doubt build new ship frames, by the size of the frames, this is the place their warships are constructed.

This is an important piece of visual evidence for two reasons. Number one, it's another satellite that pestered me during my 'photography' of Syros. Number two, very close to it is a Murmillo class battleship, which scans indicated to be the 'Delos'. I dare not approach it for risk of being fully detected, so as such I did not manage to retrieve a clear shot of it. The threat of being detected by it and the satellite near it was too great and I did not want to blow the reconnaissance operation over it.
I detected a field near-by after some further flight around the system, upon inspection and entering it, I noticed a good concentration of corsair patrols inside it deployed from battleship 'Delos'. Due to this, I had to skirt around the field and avoid detection. I detected another station within the field, but the risk of exposure to the size and frequency of patrols into this field were too great a threat to my own safety and the integrity of the operation. It is however, an installation of great importance, using the defenses swarming the field as a reference to confirm this.
There were two other nebulae inside the system, both resonating with electromagnetic interference, an all too familiar sign from my days in the core that unsavory entities may be lurking within them, as such I avoided both nebulae in entirety and have nothing to report regarding them, only an advisement of caution, it's possible this all may be my paranoia and it is merely a jump-hole causing this interference from within, but I would not put aside the former's plausibility.
Locating connections to neighboring systems: I noted three such jumpholes leading into this sector as well as out into neighboring systems, in order of my detection of them. Munich to Omicron Xi: Sector G1; Sector 6G - Leading back to Munich. Omicron Gamma: Sector C2, did not jump through due to obvious risks and not being part of the assignment. Omicron Beta: Sector D1, located but did not jump through due to the same reason as previously stated for Omicron Gamma.
Surveying for potential resource sites: There is little to no economic value that can be placed on this sector. What little resources I could find were trace iron oxide and aluminium oxide deposits in the Andros Asteroid field. This is the very same field that is frequented by significant Corsair patrols deployed from Battleship Delos. I suspect there may be some ship-wrecks within it worth salvaging, but the cost of doing so may not be worth the reward.
The Gas giants remain toxic and of no true use from the harvesting point of view. From the brief scans I did of all three nebulae, I found nothing exceptionally out of the ordinary regarding them. Apart from high radiation, electromagnetic interference and potential danger. The corsairs themselves seem to avoid the two distant nebulae that are some distance away from the Munich jumphole.
This hereby concludes my detailed reconnaissance report.

Undercover Status Report: Rheinbier
Today I was checking the designated systems and look for work when a very nervous Gateway pilot draw my attention.
He was obviously in a hurry and was mentioning some sort of an attack.
I could catch him and followed him to Omega 3 leading me to Freeport 1 where was an incident to say at least.
A whole Hessian battle-fleet consisting of at least three warships and several other vessels were fighting a Nomad force of at least three capital vessels.
I manage to scan several Hessian vessels but failed on taking a clear scan of one of these alien ships.
I'm going to pack, scramble and send my scan data by transmitting this message.
Returning to the designated systems.
