According to what I saw, Wiki has no configuration to set total allowed size of uploads, and one needs to configure php.ini on the server to determine maximum allowed size of each upload. I cannot do this. So, uploads are out of question.
I've just changed the navigation bar. Think I'm the only one who has admin rights... or... I don't even know how to grant them to anyone (read about it when I set up the wiki, but forgot nearly everything).
By the way, I got a request - was it you? - that the page about Discovery mod should be changed since it contains quotes from the website. I believe that website quote is appropriate in this case (remember Wikipedia rule? no original research), but we can add some more info there if necessary. I just can't quite imagine what could it be.

'No original research' does not mean it has to be cut and paste. The exact wording may be changed while the overall content remains the same.
For example, the line
Code:
152 new pilotable ships of different classes, including brand new ships, custom ships based on original game models, and ships previously available only for NPCs: Starblazer, CSV, Juni's Defender, advanced versions of House fighters, transports, trains, liners, gunboats, cruisers, destroyers, and battleships.
could be changed to
Code:
152 new pilotable ships, including new fighters, transports and even capital ships.
with 'new pilotable ships', 'fighters', 'transports' and 'capital ships' being links to the according pages.
The line
Code:
Many other features - see the changelog in this Readme.txt file!
seems especially misplaced as it's no readme.txt file at all.
Quote:What pages need to be deleted?
Basically, all of the '* Factions' pages, for example 'Liberty Factions' or 'NPC Factions'. All the information in those pages should be placed in the 'Factions' page, which can contain 2 tables (one for player factions, one for NPC factions). Makes it much easier to find the information you are looking for.
Some kind of deletion system could be useful, just like in Wikipedia. Then everyone can send a deletion request, which can be discussed, and the page will (if not rejected) be deleted after some time, maybe a week. Of course, that has to be done by hand.
I don't think we should merge all faction pages into one. NPC factions deserve to be separated from player factions, that's for sure.
Also, the current structure by House... it should be improved, of course, but the concept itself is meaningful, for we've got lots of unofficial groups that also deserve to be mentioned (there's a list being compiled somewhere on forums). Officially approved/system-owning factions should be somehow demarcated. Reason to keep the House separation is that most factions won't create separate pages for themselves. Adding a few descriptive words, however, is easily achieved.
So, it can be faction name+few details format for House pages, with a separate page listing all factions and their tags.
Mod description can be changed freely, you can reword it yourself if you think it's necessary:)
As for deleting pages... we don't have too many pages now, and very few subject for deleting, but I may create a new page to discuss such things... what do you say?

I still think that this could be better archieved by 2 separate (and sortable) tables on one page, but that's open for discussion.

If they all place their info there, instead of the topic in the forum, it's easier to find for newbies. I dislike topics in a forum being used as data storage, without proper sorting and such. Also 'somewhere on the forums' is less easy to find than 'on the factions page in the Wiki' :D

Very good, I just didn't want to do it without asking, it being a copy from a very 'official' source.;)

That would be very much appreciated. Maybe also a box that can be easily placed on top of the page, to warn people that their edits might be futile.
