Hey Mates.
I'm aiming for joining the britania army. My question is... as a britania army effective, can I enter the recently conquered gallic systems, like Edinburgh, and wreak some havoc among Gallic stations and forces? Am I allowed to do it, or do I have to restric myself to official britania ruled systems?
Take a look at the BAF ID. You'll see it lists the systems in your zone of influence, or ZOI. For the record, Edinburgh is among them. Also take a look here, post number 5. For example, Cambridge is Bretonia by the rules, and your ZOI lists Bretonia. It also lists the systems directly connected to Bretonia, one of which is Omega-3. Although Omega-3 is considered Bretonia by the Kingdom of Bretonia, it is not by the rules, so Omega-5, which only has a connection with Omega-3, is not within your ZOI. Omega-9 (connected to Cambridge) is and you can technically be there, but there's really no reason to go there. The system is devoid of any resources, so there is no reason for conquest.
Edit: I have to correct myself. Omega-3 is Bretonia within the rules too, but also part of the "ΤΩΣO". It was somewhat confusing.
Thanks Thunderer. One other question:
For systems not listed but under Gallic control, can I make incursions there, as in RP military raid tactics?
For example Languedoc or Dauphine?
I wouldn't like to go by an unlawful Id as the privateer, but as a military in war against Gallia, I would like to attempt deeper raids.
You can technically go there, but not shoot anything, since it would be against the rules. You can only attack in the systems listed as your ZOI. If you have a Privateer though, you will be able to go to Gallia. And Privateers aren't exactly unlawful. They are the disguised military that go deeper into Gallia and disrupt its supply lines and economy.
