I was born on Planet Crete, which makes me originally a Corsair. My mother died giving birth to me, and life there with my father was a struggle, having to fight through constant starvation on the barren and volcanic world. When I came of age, I ran from an important battle, a battle where my father also perished in. My people and the rest of my familia shunned me from them and even tried to kill me to serve as an example.
I was found months later in my escape pod, my left eye pierced by shrapnel, by a kind bounty hunter guild member. Him nursing me, letting me work alongside him, and even cohabiting with him was looked down by the other BHG, so his fellow members tried to kill me. I lost my left leg, and my lover's life, in my escape. Later, I was found in my escape pod by a freelance trader and his friends. After I was nursed back to health, I worked for them as a light fighter scout, going where the profit was had. One day, an outcast fleet engaged us without us knowing. I tried to stall them, but there were too many, and my left arm got wholly burned by an exploding console, crippling me. I would've died then, had the trader not come back and jettisoned my escape pod away, sacrificing himself. After that, I worked for a year or so with another freelance trader as his crew member in his transport. But he was crazy, so I canceled my employ and decided to work for myself. I did the odd escort job here and there, until I worked my way up to save for my own freighter, and then light transport.
Needless to say, I've been all over Sirius, done many things, experienced many things. My heritage as a Corsair is long gone, but I'll never forget the plight my people experience day in and day out. While my eye, leg and arm are cybernetically-replaced, I am by no means disabled, and are even far better-enhanced than regular limbs. I am highly knowledgeable of hand-to-hand combat, ship repairs, and light fighter piloting, however I'm tired of the fast and dangerous life and am now a trader by profession. I have dealt with a variety of cultures around Sirius, from the most tenacious of outcasts to the sleaziest of junkers.
Personally, my most avid hobbies include martial arts, marksmanship and cooking, and I love swimming and water-sports in general. Sometimes I read, but I usually keep myself active to distract myself from my trauma. I don't drink nowadays because I'm tired of using liquor to forget, and I'd like to keep my liver in the future.
The first of two biggest reasons why I'm applying here is because I wish to be a part of the organization where comfort, relaxation and luxury is in their name. When one's spent their childhood in a hell-hole, you tend to appreciate the true value in a lot of things most people treat mundanely. And I'd also like to give luxury back to those who've had their hard days and need to unwind from the stresses of life. One day, I'd like to captain my own luxury liner under that principle.
The second reason is that I already have the money to purchase my own 5k-transport. All I need now is the ID license to do so.
I can see you possess several qualities that we at Orbital Spa and Cruise look for in a prospective captain and your cybernetics should be no issue, however your history of trauma is a cause for concern as company policy requires all our liner captains to have a clean bill of health, both physically and mentally to qualify for our training courses. This is by no means prevents eventual progression to liner captain, only that an extended period of observation will be required by our health team to deem you fit for the role.
If you are comfortable with that arrangement we would be happy to have you in our logistics department though I'm afraid we don't use super transport class vessels, only ships rated for 4,200 units of cargo can be used without special permission.

I understand the need for your company to assess my physical and mental state, especially when it involves personally dealing with tourists and VIP's. I won't object to that, and in fact I'll welcome it! It has been quite a while since I've consulted a licensed psychotherapist, and the last thing I'd like to do is go into episodes or burst out in the middle of key voyages.
However, I do find it strange, but not irrational, that you don't partake in super transports, at least not conventionally. Your ID licenses don't at all state such limitations, but perhaps that is why you tacked in the 'without special permission'. A disappointment indeed, but at least it's 700 units above Freelancer pilot licensing, which is still admirable. Perhaps we may negotiate for these 'special permissions' in the future, or that once I've proven that I'm of clean enough bill of health we can negotiate for the 5kers or the liner... whichever comes first.

Started from nothing in my hometown Pennysylvia, Liberty - i spent my early years hauling anything profitable from one planet to another. In that couple years, i also waiting in patience to live up my dream to live in luxury after all of the effort i put into it. This dream eventually half-way fulfilled with me able to do trades with the biggest cargo ship available in Sirius called "Mastodoon".
At this point, i think this is finally the time where i can bathe my live in luxury and hey, what better way to do it than joining up with one of the most luxurious space liner services out there ? Not only i able to live in luxury, i also able to provides it for other people. As those late people said, one rock and two birds down.

You certainly have the spirit for OSC and a healthy respect for the finer things in life, all qualities we look for in our potential staff and the wealth of experience you have in haulage would be ideal for our logistics department. However OSC company policy restricts the usage of large scale freight transports to luxury commodities only (items such as Pearls, Furs, Holosculptures etc) and as such would prohibit you from transporting any goods outside of those designated unless authorised by a Director.

Yes, i'm aware of that and willing to obey to the restriction of the commodities i can haul.
Personally i rarely do trades with luxury commodities but in the end we should start to do it to feel like living in it.
I just hope my current ship doesn't cause any problem since i remember it's usage is limited on OSC.
You are quite right, under our previous policy the largest transports were indeed restricted however we are currently trialing the commodity restriction as a possible replacement.

I like travelling, socialising, have extensive knowledge of many parts of Sirius. Was member of OSC in 4.85. Prefer diplomacy and proactive relations with any groups who might be unfriendly to enterprising of this kind.
My RP skills maybe 9 I am `RP Nazi` I am not particularly interested on credit grinding. Just to equip ship in RP fashion and maybe haul from time to time some luxury product surpuluses for supplying other OSC ships with proper auxilary stuff. OFc if you have some base to dump it in.
No wind is favourable for those ships who dont know their final destination
