Tidings to whomever hears this.

I'm Nathaniel Drexler. The Armadeira or second-in-command of the current Knights of Labor movement in Liberty. A group of Xenos seeking to represent the true goals of the now bygone Xeno Alliance. Stomping down on the exploitative foreign corporations and external malefactors, along with the extermination of various corrupt internal elements. We are not common criminals however and follow a code.
I'm contacting you to get an introduction going, we're no stranger to the criminals that plague Shikoku and smuggle through Liberty and I think with a little cooperation between you and I we could lessen this issue, profitably as well.

All things begin with small steps, so what I'm prepared to offer you right now is the consideration of a potential pact, pending approval from our Grand Basilisk and you of course. One in which neither of us will harm the other. You may not be a strictly Libertonian company, but you aren't a drain on the economy, you don't flood the market and clog up the labor force with immigrants willing to work on half the wage rates. You seem respectable enough.
To further illustrate our shared interests, we the Knights are not fans of many of your enemies. We will not render mercy upon any cardamine users, outcasts, chrysanthemums or any other parasite operating under the guise of piracy and exploitation of Liberty's current economic policies.
I see no reason for us to be at arms with each other, it would only be a waste of time and resource for the both us. And I'd personally like to direct my scorn at those that do deserve it, not honest miners making a living for themselves out in the Taus.

Dear Mr. Nathaniel Drexler,

My name is Jack Henderson, I am running Operations Coordination for the Guild. I am here to express that the guild is pleased to get into contact with the Knights of Labor. We have heard the news of a new generation of Xeno leaders and the Guild is greatly interested in continuing the relations we had and we are also always open for change.

The IMG has never had trouble with the Xeno Alliance and so the first small step (as you labelled it aptly) is very much in the interest of the Guild. If we have armed forces in your zone of operations, they consist of escorting and scouting vessels that provide convoy security and those are not looking for conflict.

The Guild limits its Liberty activities historically to the transportation of raw ore to the smelters of New York and Colorado. We indeed have no stake in and no influence on the economy and can therefore claim truthfully that our interests do not conflict in any way with yours.

Our common enemies have always helped in keeping the old pact alive and it is good to hear that the Knights of Labor are willing to continue on this path. The Guild has recently stepped up its patrols to take a hit on human trafficking and slavery, as well as the lethal drug Cardamine that they ship through the Taus and therefore through our zone of operations towards Liberty. The Guild will keep its efforts up to free as many poor souls and to destroy as much of the Orange Death as we can - which will in turn protect the lives of Liberty citizens.

The Guild would like to offer something that the old alliance sometimes requested. In the past, it used to be hard for Xeno political opposition groups to access certain products that are in the hand of Liberty corporations. The IMG used to transport medicine from Planet Denver to Ouray facility. We are ready to do discreet logistic support also for your group. If you need anything special, just let me know. The Guild is well-connected and my convoy leaders are trained in the art of staying under the radar of authorities.

I've considered all of the information you replied with, I'll duly relay those points to our Basilisk. In the meantime I'd like to convey with clarity that no forces of ours will be allowed to pursue your vessels with any form of hostility whatsoever. If at all independent xeno pilots pull a reckless stunt, please don't automatically assume this to be a fault on our end, talking first would avoid detriment for both our sides, for some alliances aren't worth shattering.
Regarding hitting contraband trade, we'd be more than glad to hit it with you and potentially fund ourselves doing it, perhaps a few contracts here and there on your pay-roll would be useful, provided you'd be open to allowing that.

my Armadeira here has already stated our offer and wanted me to contact you too, i am very glad you came to the decision that the KoL and the IMG don't need an unnecessary fight that can be solved with support instead.
The KoL will not attack any of your transports or steal their cargo, something we might need in the future is equipment but that has yet to be decided, of course we will pay for what it costs.
I would be very glad if you could tell me more about the things you can provide us with and please report if any of my knights doesn't leave your ships alone, i fear that not everybody hears the call i will give them.
