She looks at the new officer.

"When will I be able to leave this God-forsaken place? I've already had enough..."

"I meant the HIGH RANKS should explain this to OFFICIERS and SOLDIERS!"
Only precise words (//in capital letters) were pronounced with a voice more high than normal. Then Sid calms and sees the watch.
"Enough so, I lost enough time here. Guys, all yours!"
Sid stands up and he goes to the exit room, he talks to other BAF officiers.
"Ah, please, keep that recorder good and on, I want to know all the report after finished!"

[Thunderer]

Graves gets up after Sid and makes a circle around Ambre, like a hyena around an animal that is about to draw its last breath. He takes one last look at her, as if parting from a prized possession.

"Have fun, Jeff!", he says as he suddenly turns and leaves. There will be more prisoners in the future. As he was walking to the docks, he thought about what he would do if he was among the troops to capture New Paris.

Jefferson was confused. He didn't expect Graves to be in the chamber, perhaps he was so focused on the criminal and the case that he couldn't split his attention and see Graves as well. He saluted him and Sid, at the time they were leaving the shining room. Turns back to Ambre, and after a long break and a some sights, he began to talk.

-Mss. Lachance, I found you fighting out there innumerable times. I know how you move and what you fly. You escaped from our hands many times-. Frowns.
-Ending up here is just not your style. Still, I'm proud enough that we can have a talk- Takes a sip on the coffee and looks at his own shape inside of the cup.
-Tell me, do you want some coffee?- Asks her pointing his sight on her eyes.

The coffee made Ambre lose track of the situation. The offer appeared completely against the flow she was experiencing over this and the past visits to this wonderful room.

She didn't recall Jefferson, it was yet again a surprise that the officer would know anything about her. She was yet another pilot on the frontlines, and she met equally as many Sirians.

Ambre didn't want to take anything from the new arrival, certain that it'll likely be spiked with something, or it's just a trick to extract more information one way or another. Yet, the aroma weaved through the room, the fragrance tickling her nose with temptation. Coffee was a luxury here, an inmate would have no chance of ever getting close to it. She declined, but her parched lips told a different story.

"Non. Is there a reason I get to see so many visitors all of a sudden? I don't like them." the woman coldly retorted. She occasionally glanced at the coffee that the man was so deliciously drinking.

Jefferson expected exactly the reaction that the young woman showed. His nervous sight betrayed her words, so the officer could realize that the situation was going straight on the direction he wanted to head it.

-The coffee can tell many things about someone.- Takes a short sip, rounds his eyes and puts his can ahead of her, adding the next words on the mean time:

-You can be sure now that the coffee is clear. Why would we envenom you with a coffee when we got plenty of aromatic kind of teas. The venom changes the coffee's flavour. Smells different and of course tastes different.

He was trying to get closer to her and make her get confy, so he could get rid of that.

It takes all of Ambre's will to decline and push the can back towards Jefferson. She draws her eyes from the can back to the officer, her lashes appearing heavy as she lifts her eyes back up.

"I'm glad you're ignoring my questions, too." she tries to dodge the topic.

"Why don't you stop the lesson about coffee and get to the point, I don't want to stay here longer than I have to. That's not that difficult, is it, Sirian?"

Jefferson was surprised this time for her answer, but he couldn't step back. Glanced at his coffee again and took another sip, now way longer, he could feel the burining liquid draining to his stomach. Focuses his sight to Ambre and let his words drift from his mouth.

-I'd rather hear you adressing to me with my name, Ambre. As I'm doing the same- Smiles politely to her trying to hide the falseness of the tone and answers her question with a bitter voice:-Sid interrogated you because he brought you here. Graves came because he is just good on his labour, and I came for my own interests more than for my job, not to mention I was there on the assault flying the Havoc.IV bomber-ship. Is that enough for you. Mss. Lachance?- Remarks these last words with a louder and ironic tone.

-I promise that you won't be out of here before you give us what we want- Takes a deep breath and begins to formulate the next question.

At the time he started to feel something strange. Something was boiling inside his veins and captivated his thoughts. Perhaps he liked the way that Ambre got rid of Graves and Sid. Maybe the way she moves. Maybe the way she fights. Maybe were her beautiful eyes fixed on Jeff's ones, with this intense looking. Jefferson couldn't hide that he was nervous, at least not at all.

"Something you should like to know about our techniques? Isn't it obvious enough, if you're in the frontlines? Gallic ships are plain superior in every regard. It's not that difficult to use them, unlike your decaying ships. Gallic innovation is all that you might want to know, there's nothing serious to it."
