How about you all stay calm and let the future show the results? Stop predicting something, when there will be the result and you will have anything against it, you know how to react to it. So far everything are going as it should be.
You know what was freaking me out for the last couple of months? Mostly people in K'Hara don't care about the faction activity, roleplay, the entire situation with the humanity and etcetera. The most common thing I see is K'Hara logging only in purposes to kill something with uncloaking, typing a few lines of rp and going in. Bluntly, as a member of K'Hara, I would like to ask the others - do you even care about this faction? The history, the uniqueness, the speech, the origins, their religions, the relationship with humanity?
And here is the other part of the sandbox - Vagrants. What do I see, comparing K'Hara to them? Vagrants have way more activity, they have an additional lore, they have a lot of determinated targets, they have purposes, hell they even had their own unique nomspeech. And you may ask me, what made them to enjoy their faction? They created purposes on behalf of themselves. They made it enjoyable for them. But not only in PvP sense. Gladly, they have people that made purposes to enjoy their roleplay - Erato, Sombra, Ramke, etc.
And what about K'Hara? I'm the one that enjoyes nomad roleplay just because I created my own purposes, my own way to enjoy it. I compared the Roleplay and PvP demands into one substance that I enjoy, but in the same time doesn't demolishes the origins of the faction. But what about the others? Only Marduk raids? Everything I see nowadays is just me, Piombo and Huggie logging as K'Hara in sake of creating a little bit of activity and roleplay.
Look, I'm a patient person in general, but seeing how more than 15 people don't care about the faction and still staying in it? It's confusing.

I cannot say that I do not care, I am just busy with university for the time being. But I cannot blame uni for lack of my activity. In my opinion, the game has become stale. I have nothing to do since factions I am part of or used to be are inactive, like BDM and Core. About logging in for "Farmers in 99 lets pewpew", I no longer enjoy it. Even if willing to RP, flying an uncloaked Nammu to house capital systems, I receive gunfire most of the time. That is not really RP-friendly. I like to shoot and get shot, but you know.. Everything has limits.
K'Hara as a faction stopped being unique, elite and all these nice words since every member was granted a Marduk access and went lolkilling powertraders. If the nomspeech change mentioned several posts above is in effect, I am going to stick with the old talk if I ever RP again.

Cannot judge the Vagrants. I've been inactive for a long time, so I don't know them. Yet, the writeup seems nice at the first glance.

It's almost as if K'Hara don't speak and just kill, like a race from vanilla called the nomads that says nothing and shoots is being RPd as a race that says nothing and shoots.
I don't recall the infected chancellor speaking religious verses to the president before Trent walked through the door and shot him.

The difference between Vanilla Nomads and K'Hara Nomads is that the Vanilla ones were actually doing something, and the present ones barelly bother to do anything.
In terms of "purpose", I always appreciate when a faction has "goals" in their Info / Description / FAQ thread; ideally, short, medium and long term goals that have some specifics.
This allows a player to get a feel for the reasoning of the faction, and therefore the actions of it's players. It helps with the RP, in my mind.
Does broadcasting your plans make you more vulnerable / targeted? Perhaps; if the Core went and said "Short term, we want to mine 100,000 units of Iridium Ore from Omicron Lost", then one could expect increased activity there.
In the case of the Nomads, the Vagrants have a pretty clear focus on what they are trying to do, whereas the K'Hara are more omnipresent and mysterious, much like the vanilla faction is.
If the K'Hara are lacking in forces, perhaps they could schedule / set up events where they have NPC support (as we've seen driven by Spazzy).
This is a formal warning, because we feel like this can be handled internally without a sanction thread or another modification of your ID.
Your current ID lacks alliance lines and upon closer investigation, it was an oversight. One that was chosen to be left in due to the potential interesting roleplay it could generate. It was not, however, left in so that you could have marduks assist Liberty Rogue and Pirate ID players to siege a base in New York. The administration team has received some rather discouraging material regarding the state of your ingame roleplay and we would like you to re-evaluate the quality of your ingame presence on the server. If you feel as though your ID should have this line in order to make this warning justified, it can be re-added with the next server restart.

Rogues and Pirates decided to siege that base. They invited Commune and other Outcasts to aid them. Commune only has Outcast ID/ IFF but it is not indentified as a Maltese organisation, rather it is as a organisation who is... allied or related with Malta and it's people.
Commune had some bussines with Rogues, especialy with Alcatraz Rogues before we went a bit inactive. Commune also has huge interest in Manhattan, @Ryummel said what it is. K'Hara and Oracles also have their interest there, together with Commune as they work for one goal.
So what is going on? Nobody said K'Hara or Oracles will siege the base. It was said they will aid the situation so we could create a distraction for everyone, and buy us some time and insiders on Planet, to get closer to what we want.
On the end, I believe that K'Hara by it's ID isn't forced to shoot everyone they see. They can also ignore whom they want, right?
So why wouldn't K'Hara ignore Rogues and other pirates, while they siege base, and use the situation in their own will? Especialy if the said organisations, are in good relations with Commune and those organisations will respect (they do) for whom Commune works for?
Because we know how people in the server are. If things continue, we're going to have a bunch of Marduks shooting LIS,while the Rogue-Outcast alliance (That shouldn't even be there by the orange treaty) Merrily laugh about how wonderful it is to have the Blue Glowies on their side....despite the proud history of Rogues shooting Nomads.
Realistically, the Rogues would turn and start shooting the Noms alongside the Navy, and they most certainly would not allow Outcast caps inside of their territory, but that's already happening.
Don't let it get worse.
Realistically speaking, they signed up to siege the base. That means they will bring ships to it. Otherwise, there was no need to sign up for it. In my months on the forum, I have seen -Zero- K'hara RP. I've seen Wild, and Vagrants and Infected, but actual Nomads? Nothing. Are you really going to pretend that unless it's called for by the community/admins it's actually going to lead to any sort of RP other than: -This One Un-Veils itself before the 'Others' and begins to destroy the Human installation-.
To me, it feels like the faction is a very complicated 'Get out of RP to shoot free' Ticket,And it doesn't help when the Oracles, these great prophets trying to bring understanding of the Nomads to Sirius, throw in a total two lines of RP, and thereby including K'hara on a siege....for a base literally infront of Manhattan.

I feel like you should stop pinning the blame on the entire faction and it's members.
I'm a part of K'Hara, and whilst I understand that Huggie wishes for the faction members to have something fun to do and something to blap at, I disagree with this act.
If this was, say, just Outcasts, that'd be a different story. It feels wrong to help the people who've shot Nomads, even if it was manipulation and we turn out to kill them all in the end.
Also, K'Hara players can and do RP, it's just /very/ strenuous when you have a lot of things ganging up against you, pvp is pretty much inevitable outside of the Omicrons. So expect sessions to be disturbed.
I'm way too tired to even continue my own personal Nom RP as it'll only get repetitive. Truthfully, finding RP for nom related stuff on the forums is a bit hard.
