Go play TIE fighter or even better X-Wing Alliance.

Tweak a specific file in X-Wing Alliance and you can fly every ship in the game, even the major Capital class ships.

Then there is the PvP that is available.... ah fun times I had with that a while back.

If we create the X-wing for this mod, I'm going to want my Venator back.

I remember when I stuck 22 Heavy Mortars on that thing and fired them in front of Spazzy's ship. His PC said NOPE, and promptly crashed because of the graphics overload.

Not a good idea. i'd rather freelancer contain unique ships rather than copies. i've seen enough tie fighters for a lifetime from starwars anyhow.
