I don't really fit here unless you prefer trading trough Omegas, but [opg]Mentira is on frequently and I can promise to be on best behavior with that pirate transport.
If I'm not on that, I'm on a corsair fighter pilot, or at my lane hacker Mr.Big but I'm still trying to get into that role.
Oh ya, due the leg break, i'm on most of the day i guess.

Active: Almost always on, (no lifer).
Complaint: Everyone wants to win. We just try to cover that truth with Roleplay stories and the likes, fact is everyone wants to win, myself included. This is and will always be a place where PvP is the key to drive forward.
Solution: I do not see any solution...
Sorry but its just the way I see it. However, I really hope someone changes my view, because I want this place to be different but in my in-game experience (which is alot), it just... seems this way. I'm sorry.
I dont care about winning. People who cannot lose at entertainment or games have not found the true purpose of recreational human interaction!
That purpose is to be a giver of fun as well as a receiver.
Games should always be win win... Life has enough competitive rubbish without that stuff creeping into your recreation as well!
If winning a duel is fun for both winner and loser, you have achieved something... the only way a loser could stand to gain something by that defeat would be if there was a greater purpose than two people just hacking away at each other competitively... hence the beauty of role play.
If I lose a fight, my story continues. (My pod was tractored in and I experienced torture at the hands of my enemy..or... they left me floating in space... those bastards.. I shall return.. and I shall return twice as powerful!)
I hope this makes some kind of sense.
Come to Order space and you'll get some great RP if I'm there.
Who is your character ingame?
Bs|Sius.Malacos
Bs|Sasha.Vorile
Bs|Helvet
Bs|Reliance
and all my other characters. RP before PVP!
When do you play? (US time or Euro time).
US, est.
Where do you generally hang out?
Omicrons, Order space

I'm afraid I agree with Zeltak...
I do want to win. Very few people roleplay as characters that want anything less. The character wants to win, and in a competitive environment such as a game like this, so do the players. However, I don't see this as detrimental to roleplaying if done correctly and fairly. It helps you play your character if you want to win as much as they do.
However, I'm of the opinion that living to fight another day is a very important aspect of roleplaying combat. If I'm losing, I run.
I don't want to rely on the escape pod excuse again and again, and neither do I want my beloved characters to be killed off.
Oh, I forgot... my characters are listed in my signature, plus I've a few sneaky other ones which I'll reveal soon.
I hang out in Hokkaido most of the time on [GC]-Ai.Takeda, although I can occasionally be seen on the other characters in my signature. My timezone is GMT +0 (England), so i'm normally around after about 4pm GMT until about 10-11pm GMT.
I try and get all GC players roleplaying as best I can, and hopefully I've achieved a decent enough RP within the faction. Either way, Kusari is where I normally hang out.
OM NOM NOM NOM NOM... EHH?! *dramatic prairie dog move*
Wait, I do RP? I just do RF(O) lately, and portals! But I'm keeping off Disco for a while as well. Life's gud, got inactive big time anyway since a good month. Check my profile for any further informashun about my chars and timezone.
Oh, just a little addendum to my previous post, whilst I want to win, for sure, I don't want to win unless I feel I've achieved something.
I want to free the peoples of Sirius from their capitalist diktat (or, some may claim that I want to turn Sirius into a neo-Stalinist diktat...), I want to beat down the gringos trying to get up in my drug trade, I want to be the winner of the Top Cannon trophy at West Point, I want show those dirty noodle-munchers how a real gentleman (see: thieving bastard) fights a bloody war!
Sure, I might maintain radio-silence in system chat (unless I've a really cunning plan), but I do this sort of thing for a reason. Group chat is filled with 'Maintain radio silence, Red Wing, I want you to be as silent as the graves we're about to fill with those bastards!' or 'He's flying overconfident. It's the soft training at West Point, you see. You'll be thanking Commodore Zehn for being a harsh sonofabitch when this day is over, I promise you that.'
Of course, due to combat, the grammar is often less good. Heh.
Well You will find me up in Omicron Alpha a lot of the time with my RoS comrades.
Down in colorado with the Xeno brothers as XA-Jack.Tar and Ol'Jack'Tar.
Currently also hanging out as Rawshank, my embittered, twisted and violent merc in omicron theta, though that is likely to change soon. And you'll also find me protecting the citizens of liberty like a true (if slightly dim) hero [SA]Daniel.Hale
I am from the UK and I play mainly from early evening (6pm gmt) to silly o-clock (about 4am gmt some nights) and also whenever people shout at me on skype to get in game.
After about a week away from home I will be back near my computer tomorrow night, so you'll see me then.
Name: [TAZ]Heartmox, and there is one more comming out soon.
Time: mostly from 8 to 23, with pause by 12 to 13 for lunch, and some other random pause.
Location: Doing trade routes. For now that's all I'm about. You can usually find me inside Kusari or Rheinland space though
About the 'winning' thing. Nobody does anything willing to fail, but this does not need to mean that loosing is failing. All my characters usually have the so called secondary objectives as his primary ones, so I can explore and enjoy of 'faces' of RP that few ppl dare to enjoy.
For now I'm trading, with Heartmox I'll never join a House military thing, but yet I can join a war, and then winning or loosing will not make me fail or succeed because this is not my goal.
Maybe ppl just need to figure out new goals for them, that should help.
"Where you belong, when you walked every world?"
"The point is not being crazy, is making you believe I'm." Random though
