It's the third time when the shot sounds are heard in her cabin. Some of the Umbra's crew were thinking that it was wrong, the others considered it per usual. However, Jeff thought that the adamantium wall in her cabin could break sometime if she keep shooting in it with the Gauss Handgun. He took his handband once again and contacted her:
- Could you please stop making holes in your ship? We had to purchase the entire adamantium wall just because of your boredome!
A bored moan followed as an answer, yet again, he received nothing but the shot sound, which almost reached the ship's hull. A hollow echo got everybody's attention, but everything that Jeff heard was a small chuckle from the speaker. Getting tired by her attitude, he groaned and left the bridge, heading towards Tricia's room.
He got her in very unapropriate situation. She was lying in her bed without a coat, pointing her M-5 at the adamantium wall left to her bed. The wall was covered with the hologram print of Nomads', Outcasts', The Order's, Corsairs' and Zoners' ships. Every single ship, from Ingenuus to Eidolon had a hole in it, but the biggest one was in the image of the Marduk. Once she saw Jeff entering her room, she pointed her handgun at him. Momentarily realising whatever she wants, he stepped at the wall and left the blue laser pointer at the top of the hologram - where the Eidolon Wraith was. Jeff made one step to the left before she pulled the trigger. Super accelerated bullet almost got stuck in the wall, leaving the solid dent in the hit place. This time, Trix was targeting the holographic engine section of the Wraith. After such a loud shotsound, Jeff had to wigle a finger in his right ear.
- How can you shoot this thing without the headgear and don't be deaf?
She sighed, pointing the handgun at the panorame window ontop of her bed.
- Just lucky, I guess.
He sat at the table, looking at the fish tank and sometimes swtiching his sight to Trix, while she was turning her M-5 in her left hand.
- Anyway... Why did I came here? Can you stop doing this? You know that this thing is serious and some day you could pierce a hole in Umbra's hull.
- Mmm... Nope.
- Why?
- Because I'm bored, Krennic! No Corsairs around, no Nomads to harvest, no annoying Toasters to roast, no Auxesians to have fun with, no Zoners to yell at! Absolutely nothing! The only damage that Umbra would receive in upcoming days would luckly be some by a kinetic handgun of it's own captain... Who's still just the Core Knight! Jesus, I can't even promote myself to the title of the Paladin to merge the Umbra into the Primary Fleet. Alas, it wouldn't change much...
She shot once again, almost penetrating the wall this time, leaving the massive dent in it's central location.
- You know, with time. you get used to it.
- Exactly.
Realising that there is no effort in this dialogue, he sighed and stood up.
- Already leaving?
- Well, if I was you, I could be flying more often, rather than lying in a bed, shooting into the adamantium wall and moaning to my XO.
He saluted and headed towards the bridge, leaving Trix alone. She made a sad and lonely grimace, pointing her handgun at the wall once again. But for a moment, she reconsidered shooting at it. She thought how would she look from the side. A moody baby who flies the battlecruiser. Well, maybe it was a part of her weirdness. Or her boredom. Because sometimes, boredom breeds insanity...
She entered her room, holding her coat over her right shoulder. Her face was showing an obvious dissapointment in ongoing events. Even if she was acting like a polite woman she is on public, in her cabin everything was changing momentirely. She threw her coat on a bed and snapped thrice. The hologram on adamantium wall was different for this time. It was just an Osiris and a Geb in Omicron Mu, right behind the Taba Spaceport. She made three steps forward, not looking at the holograme at all, just stroking her M-5 which was folded to her leg. She was feeling the metal, the trigger, the clips. Just an another step... She turned around swiftly. Like a snake. She took out the handgun, pointed it at the wall and made three sharp shots. First one got into the engine section of the Osiris, the other one - into the middle of the Ged and the third one - right into the reactor chamber of Taba. She was obviously angered. A typical woman she is. Emotions were taking over her. She was pointing at the wall for several minutes, full of hate and anger, until she heard the steps. But she didn't gave a damn. She hated them. Whoever was approaching her room - they better to not, because she was in a bad mood. She shot again. The steps became faster. Was it her imagination? Maybe she wanted an attention, like a regular woman. Or not. She shot once again. The steps became more faster.
- I'm in a bad mood!
She yelled inno the opened door, but the steps became even more faster, almost switching to the sprint, until the person reached her room. It was Jeff.
- I noticed.
- Took you a while.
- The last party of Nomads managed to break the elevator. Will take some time for Hesse to deal with it.
Like she was expecting somebody else to visit her. Was she expecting Andrew? Or Spike? Of course it was only Jeff to look at her, from time she became his headache.
- What now? Are you bored again?
Once he looked at her closer, he decided to take his words back.
- Well, it seems, you rather not.
Without any words, Trix just walked towards a bed and dramaticaly fell on it, still pointing M-5 at the Adamantium Wall.
- Just to get this calculated, Jeff... From the one side, we have Zoners... Nobody knows which garbage is going on in their heads. Every Zoner is acting on behalf of himself. From the other side, we have the Order... Those iditos, who're just a rising problem for the humanity, if not the rosen. On the third side, we have Corsairs... No comments here... On the fourth side, we have Outcasts... They're just fanatics... On the fifth side, we have Auxesia, the second legion of fanatics... On the sixth side, we have Nomads, the most valuable resource the humanity might had ever encountered. Almost none of them managed to cross our path in recent days. Except for those two.
She shot twice at the holograms of the Osiris and the Geb.
- What did I do? I came in and wanted to do something. To make this ship around us to not go to waste. And what did they do? They simply moored with the spaceport!
She repeated the same proccess once again with Taba hologram, until her M-5 overheated. Hearing the noisy sound, she sighed, leaving the steaming handung be, until it gets back into a proper state.
- We need to do something. If something doesn't exists, we must create it.
Jeff was still standing in the doors, looking at Trix with confusion.
- Hey, you're already doing what you can do best. All I could suggest is just to... Wait a bit... I feel like great times are coming, Trix. Just wait a bit.
