This should not happen to me... I dont fight for killcount, I fight for RP reasons. And I think twice before attacking (Doesnt apply when facing an Outcast, Cylon or Nomad as =CR=. and applies limited when facing LSF, LPI and things like that in Xeno.;))
JG-Pim: 'I noticed some cabbage in your hold..give it to me now!'
Angelfire: 'NO, It's mine! Go away!'
JG-Pim: 'Have it your way then!'
*blam Blam BOOOOOM*
Angelfire: 'Dammit! I REALLY need to install a heating system in this pod!'
Why meeeee ?! Usually, JG don't ask for cargo... Moreover, I'm not good enough in 1 to 1 PvP to take care of a xeno alone...
And I would prefer :
Angelfire: 'NO, it's mine! Go away!'
JG-Pim: 'OK, then, I'll come to get it myself, MAGNETS : ON !'
Angelfire: 'What are you doing !?'
JG-Pim: 'Obvious, no ? I come aboard ! NOW SHOW ME WHO YOU ARE ! *paw*'
Angelfire: '*closing cargo bay* Now, let's move out !'
JG-Pim: 'Great ! Now, I'm with my guns, in the cargo of someone, looking my own ship flying around 10 meters away the one I am in... I think I'll take a tea...'
...
OK for gentle RP, OK for gentle PvP too. What do you prefer ?
Hurk hurk hurk...

I think we shouldnt only ask for RP but also "teach" about it.

Well i usually hang around Omicrons and Liberty.
Complaint: I think that Traders, Lawfuls and Pirates should get a little more... "inside" their chars, i mean, it cuts-off the roleplay when you ask for some tax, and before you can end your demmand they say: "Whatever, just set a number i wanna get to Liberty before sleepping" or when you hang around with contraband, and a random (police/navy tagged/IDed) guy says: "Are you taking those to Huston?" you get nervous... the cop says "I bet you are coming out with slaves" and he apparently does nothing about it, you land, sell your cargo, come back out ready to fight, and he just says "yeah, i knew it, its a very profitable route" and then he just leaves.
I know that nobody likes to get pirated/busted but if it happens, at least you could actually RP it.
Solution: I think that a reason for non-roleplayness is that some people dont really know about "how-to-RP". I was with a friend of mine (who has played on disco for a couple of months) the other day, talking about Dicovery.
I asked "Why didnt you RP with that guy you taxed last night?" and he asked: "How do you do that RP thing?" and that is what made me think of it, so what about some kind of "RolePlay show" or something like that?
