Cash limit questions

So I know the credit limit is 2.1 bill including ship and equipment, but how exactly are the ship and equipment taken into account? Is it calculated using the buy value (40 mill for Serenity for example) or the sell value (20? mill if you wanna switch ships)?

I am trying to figure out how much cash I can put on a Serenity with UAU8, battleship scanner and Cheetah thruster.

Honestly I don't even know. I just keep it safe and take it as all equipment by the buy value.

2 147 483 647 S.C. if you will get 1 credit more, your cash will drop to 0.

Best not to put more than about 1.9 billion on it.

If you need more Banks, just make a few Starfliers and load them up to 1.9-2.0 billion.

But I would say go with 1.8 - 1.9 bill too.
