What I would like to see is a 90/225 for max/thruster speed.
I've been experimenting with something like this, but balanced out by a higher EK drag and much higher thrust drain so you can't maintain that speed (more like ~250m/s) and run away.
It might happen at some point in the future. Though not for all LFs, I suspect. I don't really think Liberators going 250 m/s will make for a better game.

why would you discredit all LFs just becasue of the liberator?
After seeing how some awesome pilots are unhittable in VHFs, I must admit I'm scared of any LFs changes. I'm very happy to see they are not using LFs on me.
I was flying old LFs with 22nd and 57th wing and it was top fun. But no one was unhittable, back there in time. We didn't see LFs as something trollish and toxic. But, nowadays pilots are way more skilled.
In case you need LFs for racing, I'm sure devs could make one for that use.
@nOmnomnOm You just suck at using them. Light Fighters are very powerful in experienced hands and would decimate some VHFs, even juggernaut two or three VHFs. There is no real need to buff them as they are good right now. Now stop making these useless threads about buffing LFs because you have no idea what you're talking about.
Yeah, Lambada-Lambda really was a good dancer at that fight. I do wonder if the Hussar is a special case because of its shape or if the other LFs are like that as well. From what I know, the Scimitar is easier to hit but a bit more tanky, especially with the regens. A list of the specifics of the LFs would be cool.

The Hussar has traditionally been comparable to LFs like the Wyrm and Liberator, although those two were slightly more obscene at their peak. The Hussar may have been nerfed less than them, however, making it among the best LFs currently available.
It's small and fast. Small is good. Fast is good. Add the two together and you generally get something that straight up doesn't die unless it wants to.
