To:Deep Space Engineering Mining Department Subject:Platinum ore mining From:L. Fisher, USI
Good day,
We require a large scale mining operation to replenish the platinum ore stocks on Platinum Incorporated. Unfortunately we are unable to provide assistance in the form of transports, and thus you will need to send your own teams of both miners and transports. Accommodation will be made ready on the base, should you accept.
Please let us know if you are available for this operation as soon as possible, so we may further discuss the terms.

Good day,
At this point we require 100,000 units of platinum ore to be shipped to Platinum Incorporated. The payment will be the standard price we offer - 1,750 SC per unit, which brings the total to 175,000,000. Ideally we would prefer that the payment is done per load directly from the station's team. That way we can easily track progress.
Please let us know if you would like to change any of the above mentioned terms.

I appreciate your offer however I am going to have to tell you that our miners are qualified specialists and as such are not your run of the mill cheaper alternatives.
We're looking more in the ball park of 2,500cr P/U to pay for the contracting of DSE) specialists. If we can look around this figure then I think you and I have a deal.

Good day,
Considering how your asking price is 150% higher than the usual 1,000 SC per unit you asked, we cannot accept. The additional 750 SC was added to compensate for the transports who would feed it into the base.
2,500 is simply too high for a journey of 17K.

I'm afraid that is our rate. You are enlisting both a miner and a hauler to commence operations that takes priority away from our vital projects we currently have going on.
However I have talked to finance and as Mr Doe instructed clearly, we are to help you the very best we can. To sum it up we can afford a discount on this occasion and lower the cost to 2,075cr p/u. Mr Doe however has offered to waiver the extra 75cr and make it a solid 2,000cr p/u.
Any lower than this and I am afraid we may not be able to help you on this occasion.
