She felt the jolt as they come out of cruise but it doesn't bother her too much. "I don't suppose you'd allow me to look around the station until then, would you?" She asks, smirking a little. She looks at the other men entering, recognizing one of them and almost blushing when she sees him.
- I believe acces to the public areas could be granted. Under supervision, that is. - Clarke said. He took a note of her blush, raising his eyebrow in surprise and showing a very faint smirk. The man that caused odd feelings with Grubo didn't pay attention to her, focused on conversing with his fellow crew member.
"Oh how nice of you. I wont get lost on the station for sure with such a nice escort?" She smirks back, looking back at him now and getting her blush away. "Does your offer of a drink or something to eat still stand?" She asks.
- Of course. - Clarke confirmed. The ship then shook a little, a few faint thuds and murmurs coming from outside. - Luckily, this place offers something more than just second hand beer... - a few clicks came from the other side of the airlock. After a few more seconds a green light lit up at a console next o the airlock, with the ship's murmur soon fading away.
"Second hand beer? If I didnt know any better... I'd think that was...." She giggles a little, feeling more calm than before. " I'd be more than happy then. It has been quite a day." She says, feeling the shaking of the ship. She saw the green light appear and tilted her head a little. " So... where are we?"
- Skye. - Clarke said. After a few more clicks and other assorted sounds the airlock opened, revealing another hatch at the other end of a short corridor. The second hatch opened after a second, revealing a somewhat large space outside, the sounds indicating that it may be an internal hangar. The two talking men, standing closer to the hatch, left the ship first. Clarke then gestured forward, letting Grubo outside first.
She walks past Clarke and enters the hangar, looking up and around at the large room. People were out and about working and moving ships, mostly fighter and bomber craft, back and forth and doing maintenance or fuel jobs. She turns back to Clarke. "I will follow you, I suppose?" She says, pretending to now know the place, though in the back of her head she would be recalling the area pretty well.
The Dragon they came in occupied a somewhat larger space within the hangar, apparently meant to accomodate a single transport. The other end of the narrower section of the hangar was occupied by a Claymore. Clarke shrugged in response.
- You can take the lead, if you wish. - he said. A few other people followed them outside, including a woman wearing a uniform identical to Clarke's. She hurried past them, not paying attention to their activities. - But, as it stands, I am too much of a gentleman to let a lady lose herself. Please, follow me. - he said after a second, walking off towards the closest exit from the hangar. A battered, but relatively well preserved Prosecutor was being carried by a nearby crane while they walked.
Slightly confused, she follows Clarke.
Looking back over her shoulder she would see some cargo being carried out including the recognizable canisters. After a bit of a walk they'd exit the hangar.
After only a few steps into the corridor, Clarke was stopped by someone who was obviously an engineer. The man had a rather ordinary work outfit and a pair of earmuss around his neck.
- There you are! How was the flight, eh? Lily seemed to be in quite a hurry... - the man peeked past Clarke, looking at Grubo. - Ey! No wonder! - he then leaned forward to Clarke, speaking "quietly". - Where did you get a lass like that, eh?
- Why ask? It's not like there's any hope for you. - Clarke shrugged. The man chuckled. - Is there any reason you're holding us up, other than immature commentary?
- Yeah. Where do you want those tanks put?
- Bay seven will do.
- Right. - the man stepped aside, letting them pass. - Will be done in no time. - the man replied with a smirk. Clarke shook his head, walking past the engineer, who was now paying some more attention to Grubo. He narrowed his eyes slightly as she walked past him, then frowned and hurried off somewhere else.
