What is the bestest (i know, there is no such word) possible fighter setup in Disco?
What would you buy if you had infinite cash?
Is it full of codenames?
Back in 1.0 all we had was an Eagle packed with nomads, here surely it is something else.
Please, write what ship and with what guns you guys find the best?
There's no real best fighter, since everything has shortcomings. It depends on you really, since some people are killing machines in sabres because they've spent a while learning and mastering the quirks.
Edit: I've always been a sucker for an impulse and vengeance guardian.
Consider that loadout is only a part of the story - it depentds more on your fighting style. See you can do more effective work if you know how to fly a Stargazer thank sucking at fighting with a Sabre. Actually, you would have a decent chance of blowing that very Sabre to dust if you know your game.

My personal favourite is the Marauder.
I also have a Marauder.
It's fast, seems to be able turn on a dime and has good firepower.
Only drawback that I can see, is that it needs a bigger power core, it has a very limited fire time with all weapons pumping.
There may be other problems, but I don't really use mine as a combat craft, more as a 'fast re-con' ship more than anything, although I have no doubt that if needed I could help out, that Cannon Ball missile launcher has some scary damage for a missile.
You need to check some detail data first. Look here : http://lh.discoverygc.com/software/compatibility
Agility is very important. The bigger number, the better. And if you want to live longer, use a VHF. I've recently changed my setup from fast guns to some codenames 3.03 refire rate and the kill rate improved instantly.
I use a Sutinga VHF with 2 Debils for shield + 3 Medusa and 1 Jade ( and a Mini Razor of course). The Jade one is something sentimental.

One of the objectively best snubs currently is the Nomad Predator, and thank god for that because otherwise the entire shipline would be useless. If you're talking human ships, though, I would ask what you want to have in a snub. If it's agility and swiftness, go for a Wraith. If you're looking for a lot of firepower at mediocre agility, go for a Sabre. If you want to be cool, buy a Rapier.
