After a heavy discussion and a vote in the HC, we have decided to do the decent thing and not to retcon any RP without peoples permission. If we need to discuss certain bits of RP as a result, we will contact your group about it.

Although i would like to state i'm rather hurt RoS being compared to the Phantoms and what not. For starters we never where a closed faction such as Phantoms, we didn't attack everything and anything like them, we where very much an open faction that at the time probably helped a large number of disco players integrate into the community (which is not easy at first). And judging by alot of the posts here i can see that has not changed much.
And besides the 4 original members theres absolutely no High Sci fi about the faction at all. Very much normal ideals and actions throughout the board. Almost normal in comparison to some other whacky arse ideas that people has thrown about in the past. People see a name like (Phantoms, HELLFIRE LEGION, Reapers of Sirius) and always assume automatically that its stupid high sci fi cheese, without even reading a word about them.
As for relations to Bretonia etc, something i would like to clarify is at the time, Bretonia is basically the 1 and only reason Cayman exists. Alot of help was given from them at the time (i dont know how things have went since then) but at the time we where far from enemies, and we probably had much to gain from each other.
Other than that the updated version of the history is cool in my books.
To be fare, the idea was to phase out the RoS era, and transition into a new one (i think at the time i was gonna be changing us into the BDF (Braillia Defense Force).
The name Reapers of Sirius came from an entirely different mind set, where the leaders where none to happy about the current state of affairs in Sirius and decided to take on a name that would strike a little bit of fear into those we came across, after the exodus and our mindset had changed from a rather vengeful one into actually furthering our ideals the old name had no place anymore. So to be honest its nice RoS got deleted, because in the end they wouldn't have existed anymore regardless.
I feel like a fresh start would do it alot of good, and get rid of the false stigma that the faction seems to hold.
Although my only gripe is the name.
Fallen Angels was a name that meant something to the original leaders, and unless one of you are still around, i don't see any reason why you would want to adopt it. Frankly if anything the current leadership should probably hold a grudge against the old leadership for pretty much falling off the face of the braillia.

Calling yourself just Reapers would suffice. Fallen Angels is a name INRP'ly older than Reapers themselves as it was their origin name. Quite synonymous with the old guard like Lohi, Ilya, Joe... later proudly took part of that too. Most of people nowadays dont even know what RoS was about, just throwing random sci-fi names and tropes without even experiencing the founding faction while it existed.
From myself I have just a question: How will your Reapers treat Valkyrie if we meet in space?
