My Odin was launched from Freital on lone Omega 11 patrol.
I was soon to pick an USS Adv.Train loaded with Diamonds bought from Kruger. The trader had no choice but to pay "transporting of inferior goods" fee.
Another trader with a Kusarian callsign was picked upon Omega 5 jump hole. He refused to stop but begged me not to open fire on him anyway. It was an Armoured Transport but very assailable as his hull was breached by radiation and the trader had no escorts, or they were lost on his way up to the jump hole. The trader appearantly had no hostile intentions and I let him go as he had no goods on board. Corsairs may not be so forgiving for passing Omega's though.
At this point I returned back to Freital and finished my patrol.

Topic: Fight In Omega-5
My friends, I bring you sad, and good news. A day ago I decided to pay the Corsairs a little visit in Omega-5 in my Loki, of course they didn't exactly like this. I ended up with two gunboats and a bomber chasing me to Ronnenburg. Fortunately backup arrived, Herr Meisnerr in his Thor and a Hessian Cruiser. Unfortunatley however, this cruiser barely retaliated and was destroyed. After this a Titan joined the fight, which I destroyed with a Mini Razor, then a mine. But this was met with the downing of Herr Meinsnerrs Thor, which was taken by our brothers to Ronnenburg. I continued to dodge the fire from the bomber and gunboat, until another Titan arrived. I taunted the OPG and they soon became angry, the Titan challenged me to a duel in the dueling area. He even said no Nanobots or Shield Batteries! I engaged and within ten seconds I hit him with a razor then a mine to his hull. The bomber then promptly backed off and let me leave.
I rather good day for me, but not for the Hessian nation.

Today's patrol mission into New Berlin was not that successful. After scouting out several key Rheinland Military and Federal Police installations, I cruised Ansgar over to the Harzfeld. Here, I found many trading vessels attempting to run the gauntlet against the Wilde. Some managed to escape the Wilde and my Falcata, but some didn't. Here are the results:
The first of the surviving Trading craft managed to sneak past the Wilde and make a break for the Sigma-13 Jump Hole. Thanks to my Train Cruise Disruptor, this fleeing Kanzler supporter was cornered. I demanded 1,000,000 credits and only recieved turret fire in return. After chasing the corrupt Train Captain into Sigma 13, he quickly fell to a lancing Supernova shot.
HUD-8234259BF-024G"Alex_Scither":
The next trader to draw my attention was "Grimly(Trader)", an inconspicious Train which tried to sneak past me. Moving to stop yet more ill-gotten credits into Daumann's hands, I disrupted him near Planet New Berlin. After pausing for a small credit demand, the trader refused to pay up. Well, he won't be supporting the Rheinland corporations for a while...
HUD-2742354DF-905L"Grimly(Trader):
Finally some good news can come out of this attack on Rheinland shipping. The trader "Sirius_Black" was eager to hand over credits to the [RHA], after some Debilitator persuasion.
I found another trader who was somewhat frightened by the imposing Ansgar. He quickly paid over 1,000,000 credits and fled towards Planet New Berlin. Sadly, a mercenary picked up on his distress calls and engaged me.
Uploading...Scan..."Lriek":
*Notice the Nomad thruster equipped. I fear this pilot may have been infested, I will investigate further.
The mercenary's Bomber was easily dispatched after a somewhat short fight. While the Rheinland Federal Police buzzed around my Falcata, I hit the Bounty Hunter craft with a supernova globule. I didn't scan for an escape pod, as I was busy dodging other gunfire.
Search...Found.."Lriek-Destruction"(code:054353):
After this mercenary was dispatched, yet another bellicose hunter came after me. This time, the ship was a Bounty Hunter Battlecruiser!
Scan of the "Dawnstar":
I switched my visor to a high-accuracy aim, then moved to engage. After repeated hit after hit with Ansgar's Supernova, his shield was finally breached. However, the constant withering gunfire eventually overcame me. My Hessian bretheren were dying around me and there was no backup for me. I activated the ejection pod before a Battle Razor round slammed into the Falcata.
I'm alright, a new ship is being produced in Omicron Alpha. I will arrange all of the protocols and the requisition, as it was my mistake to lose the ship.
Signed, Oberleutenant Dieter Lenz

Today was a glorious day for the Red Hessians as we managed to defeat the Corsairs at the Hammon Hole once again. The heros of the battle were Oberleutnant [RHA]Dieter.Lenz, Rekrut [RHA]Dennis.Koppe, Major Matt Black, Flottekapitan [RHA]Kaspar.Meisnerr and Independent Red Hessian Jesper Clauss. The Red Hessians were the first to enter the Hammon Hole preparing themselves for a tough and ferocious battle.
The 6 Corsairs Entered the Hammon hole and engaged us. it was a very tough fight, it seemed no one would get the first kill. Several Minutes later the deadlock was broken as a OPG Corsair was killed.
[OPG]Ivan
The second kill was harder to get as they changed there tactics but we finally got that second kill
[OPG]Juan_de_Tolosa
The Third kill soon followed unfourtinatly no one managed to get a onboard picture of the kill but managed to capture a memorable picture. Red Hessians are much more skilled than some people think.
The battle raged on and once again everyone struggled to get those crucial kills but the Red Hessians sonn got those fourth and fifth kills.
The last kill was a honorable but sad one as Oberleutnant [RHA]Dieter.Lenz sacrificed his life to give us victory at the Hammon hole
Death of Crucafix and the noble act of Dieter Lenz
I have more good news. Dieter Lenz's escape pod was picked up by a Hessian and taken to Ronneburg and is now being treated. On the Behalf of all the Red Hessians we thank you and we hope to see you flying soon.

Hessians! While we might have lost the battle today, it proves that the only way the Corsairs can match us is by bringing numbers vastly superior to our own. It took no less than twice our number of Corsairs to defeat us today. I must commend Oberleutnant Lenz, Leutnant Farb and Rekrut Koppe for their extraordinary dedication and fighting skills. Even in the face of an overwhelming enemy you have stood your ground and managed to take as many as they could with them. Your ships will be replaced immediately according to your own specifications, and I will make sure you will recieve the next ones from the production line.
Stand strong, we will yet have our vengeance. Omega-5 will never be theirs as long as we live.

I have had business matters in Dresden today. My ship's loadout was revised by Vogtland engineers and a few changes were made. I was told that it took a lot of time to recover the ship from constant radiation damage that it often endures in the radioactive system of Omega 11.
After the matters on Vogtland have been dealt with I've launched the re-equipped Odin to space and attempted to attack Bautzen --> Dresden gate lanes in the sector. There was a Millitary soldier by the name of Konrad Spangeler patrolling the lanes but a quick swift using guerilla tactics helped to avoid the patrol and a succesful attack on passing Gateway convoy was launched. I have returned with "tax" shortly after.
I had a conversation with Konrad about Rheinland, Kanzler and of course the revolution. It seems that his relatives died during attack of revoliutonists. No wonder why he failed to see my reasoning when I tried to persuade him to join Hessians cause. Perhaps another our meeting will be held in a more appropiorate enviroment rather than those fields of Dresden.

Well done! Our attack on Crete was a success, despite our eventual retreat. One of our fighters managed to drop nuclear payloads into Crete's atmosphere, albeit it is disputed whether the charges succesfully detonated. In orbit above the planet the Corsairs were being dealt losses by our elite force. We have managed to take out an entire cruiser and two fighters with our forces only losing three fighters, pilots of which were safely tractored in. The battle would've most likely continued as the Outcasts were mustering reinforcements, however our forces were scattered by an unexpected ion storm and we decided to pull back to Omega-5 - lest we be picked off one by one. Before the Corsairs could muster a proper counter attack, another ion storm hit. I have issued an order for our forces to remain docked until the freak occurences finally end.
It is a fortunate turn of events however, as it is wise for our forces to prepare for the strike against the Rheinland Military later this evening. There is a lot of work to do, we must make sure that weapons shipment never reaches it's destination.

Kapitan, I managed to extract high speed video footage of ships camera of the Sunday skirmish with the Corsairs. I surmise that only a small part of the video was transferred to escape pod at the time. I have to see if I can extract more data for analysis. The data could prove instrumental in tactical plans how to counter numerically superior fighter force backed up by a gunboat. I'm sorry to inform you that most fo the fighting force do not yet make appearance in this video, but I'm working on extracting more data.

The Omega Pirate Guild are a tricky enemy. Myself and Leutnant Von Seelenburg were in space due for training yesterday when we noticed a significant Outcast presence in Omega-41 on long range, and along with them - even more Corsairs. Immediately we sped off to the system with the intent to get rid of as many Corsairs as possible. We quickly joined in the fight and managed to dispatch two of the enemies with only a single loss from the Outcasts before the ion storm hit.
The warp took us all all the way to Omega-5 and scattered us across the system. Myself and Von Seelenburg managed to dock on Ronneburg to restock with the Outcasts joining us quickly. As it was I led the entire force (now consisting of two of us and two Outcasts) into the Hammen Hole to attack the Corsair filth before they could properly regroup.
One thing you learn during battles in the hell hole is to never underestimate your enemies. The Outcasts did not heed to that, and even though the Corsair fighter fell quickly and the two Corsair bombers were left intact with just Supernova cannons and torpedo launchers after the missile barrage we swamped them with, they still eventually managed to take out both Outcasts, and Leutnant Von Seelenburg. I was soon alone against two Corsair bombers and a Cryer IFF Stinger, trying to avoid their gunfire while dealing my own.
I managed to at least partially avenge my comrades by destroying the bomber Crucifix, managing a successful manuever after a carefully placed mini razor, blowing his own torpedo on his hull and obliterating his ship. Had I not stopped to admire the ball of fire, my ship would not have been critically damaged by the remaining bomber.
I had managed to make it to Ronneburg by thrusting my escape pod towards it before the Corsairs even noticed. Taking careful notes of the battle that day, my manuevers did a lot to annoy the enemy with not being able to get me in my crosshairs as I avoided his line of fire altogether for as long as possible. As such I do believe we are on to something in countering Corsair bomber tactics. It will all come out on Friday, when we strike the Hammen Hole with a force capable of taking and holding it against the vile Corsair advance.
The Hessians cannot falter! And we will not.
On other matters: Leutnant Farb is to be commended for the vast amount of footage provided from his HUD camera. This material will prove incredibly useful in training sessions and promotion videos. Well done, we could use more tapes like this.
