I also have a big issue with Skype loading time. I logged today after 3 hours since I started the program.

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday as well.
My skype was showing constant attempts to log in but then I told my gf to call me. (trough faceb00k)
And she managed to call me on skype even if mine wasn't working.

However, my messages wouldn't send and everyone appeared offline.

Well I simply seem not to recieve any messages or be able send any, most likely the program simply doesnt connect to the internet. What a great and reliable way to communicate

skype notifications stopped working for me, was working fine up till yesterday. something is going on with skype

Skype is a huge field of bags. For me this is... Someting like old friend. You don't like, what he does, but you love him, anyway, because you have a ton of good memories, connected with him.
I use both and Skype, and Discord and I'm okay with it. There is no point to force each other to use Skype or Discord. It's up to you.

Just tested if I can send files.
File sending works, even pretty fast, while messages still need years to arrive. Might truly be just a weird error, lol

If Skype ever bugs out for a large amount of people, you can just redirect your eyes over here for any info or just search "Skype status" or "Skype heartbeat" and google should bring it up as a first result and possibly display posts somewhere else with notifications.

This time it's a fault on their side it seems.

the only thing i'm missing is the emoji but i'm happy i've uninstalled it before they added the "my day" feature you see on facebook

aside from this community all games seems to prefer having a discord server setup so it will only be a matter of time before our members will end up having to need two clients and eventually will decide they really don't want to have two so.. R.I.P. Skype

Edit: Skype for web doesn't works for me and aside from that it seems i've been kept online for +3 weeks at a time(while i wasn't using it) on another account i had ..
