- Oh my, John... How many rooms like this are there? - Caroline asked while stepping into the room. Despite what it might have seemed, most of her attention was caught by the bed, rather than the windows. - Goddess, you could fit six people in this bed. - she noticed, taking a seat at its edge. - Hm. - she added, lying down onto her back. - Oh... I know where I'm going to spend the next five days...
He gave her a warm smile ''all the rooms are similar, obviously there are variations but they're usually the same.'' He put her bags into the wardrobe and walked to the door ''Relax for now if you want love, there's still plenty of time yet''
- I'd love a tour. I think I'd get myself lost if I were to wander around alone. - she got up from the bed. - But, I'd like not to impose myself. We could do it later, if you're tired after the flights.
- Then there is no reason to delay. - she said, walking past him and out of the room. She then looked around, trying to memorise anything that'd allow her to find her room again, before expectantly looking at John, waiting for him to take the lead.
He closed and locked the door, before giving her the key. He produced a blue ribbon from his pocket and tied it around the door handle ''So you don't forget where you're going'' he said before taking lead and walking to the end of the hall. He led her down to the ground floor from where they came in. ''This is the front hall, nothing overly spectacular about it, down there'' he said pointing between the dual staircase ''Is the main hall, conservatory, greenhouse and dancing room. The second floor plays host to the Library, music room, baths, my brother william's study and kitchens. The third floor is, well, home to the guest wing and the faimly rooms as well. Which would you like to visit first? There are other places as well, but we'll come to them later.''
- Thank you. - she said and followed him down the hall. She quietly listened to him, her eyebrows wandering slightly upwards the more fancy locations he mentioned. - That's... That's a very broad choice of placed to go. Lets go to the greenhouse, since it's already on the same floor. And while we're walking, can you please tell me what is a music room? I'm afraid that's not a concept I've heard of before.
He laughed, ''Only a Gaian would have chosen that'' he said, ''very well this way. Oh, an a Muisc room is a place where one makes music, our mother ensured we could all play something, so that is the place where we keep our instruments and play them when we wish.''
The came to the main hall, a bright, well windowed room with an oak dining table placed in the middle of the room. A few tables and cabniets lined the walls, along with serveral paintings of men and women, A great chandelier hung directly above the table and a few servants hurried along their way, some setting the table, another closing the doors that led outside. They continued walking through before coming to the end of the Hall and branching off, coming to a stop infront of an unremarkable door. John opened it and they stepped into a jungle of plants, trees and insects. ''Welcome.'' he said flatly
