Sunny reached over and poured himself a shot of vodka from the table of drinks.
"Right... So... I get it. We have some different views. Lets start simple." he dank the shot, "How about we form a convoy and take some supplies to the corsairs, returning with some pretty jems. I'll Handel the fencing and goods from blackport to do my part, Hogosha can handle any... Legalities and specials in some armored ships, the Gians can handle fighting support or some supplies to help.. Er.., the unioners can handle mining and heavy escorting if needed, and lastly the FL-ER.... Tags along for the ride."
He was getting sick of beating around the bush and decided to be blunt and to the point.
Xalo felt somewhat insulted that Sunny suggested FL-ER could just "tag along", but as he gave those words a second thought, he changed his mind as he'd get to make money and drink just by following a convoy to its destination."I'm honestly fine with that. I'm a simple man, as long as I get some money and booze from it... I couldn't care less." Xalo turned to Hebishima to discuss the cruiser once more. "Any assistance to get the cruiser to Kepler would be gratefull and, of course, we would tell the Unioners about anyone that helped us with this and we'd try to put in a favorable word for you." He then paused taking a sip from his drink. "My only doubt about this alliance, is that it'll envolve the convoy being mainly protected by tree huggers, as Sunny said. I don't trust any of them. First, who would even shoot a person in the name of a flower? Besides this, there is obviously my past conflict with them, it is only natural i'm distrustfull."
"We can all find out place in it. If we'd like to make a bigger purpose for this besides, as the miss said, making profit, then how about some supplies can include something to help agriculture? And well... as for you Xalo and you're boys, you guys are tagging along but really we'll need you guys quite a bit. There is no convoy without transports, now is there, yeah?! Maybe even some fueling help would be good if we could organize a jump mission." He smirks, noticing his facial expressions when he said they would tag along.
Xalos fills his glass again and takes a sip. "Thats all fine, Sunny, but it doesn't make me feel any better about having the gaians 'protecting' my transports. That is my only issue with this whole deal!" He sighs, starting to get tired after the long discussion about this alliance. "I need some way to know I can trust them."
- You do not have to worry about us protecting your transports, mister Nunes. It is unlikely to happen as of now. Mister Sunny, I'm afraid I cannot see how can we benefit from this deal. It would require us to allocate ships and manpower away from our current efforts, without actually offering us anything substantial in return. Where do you expect us to send our pilots? Why should we risk it? I insist on solid answers, mister Sunny. Your persistance in being vague doesn't help anyone.
The door off opens and someone get's thrown into the Bar. "Get out of my face you idiot !" She points a gun at the guy. "I do what, I want, where I want !" She pulls the trigger and the Bullet hits the ground right next to the head of that poor Guy that tried to stop Mary. She walks into the Bar looking for Sunny. "Hey Sweety" She walks towards him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Then before he can answer something she takes a place in the back of the Bar. "Rheinbier" She looks at the Bar tender. "And a bottle of Rum" She puts her feet on the table and light on a Cigarette, "So what are you guys doing here?" She inspects the bar and looks around. "Nice place by the way"
Xalo was confused by what he just saw. It took him a minute to try to understand what had just happened. "Who the hell are you? Can't you see we are busy? And how did you get guns here in the first place? They never let me keep mine when I enter. Just go back to where you came from and stop bothering us!"
Mary looks to Xalo. "I am Oberstarbeiter Mary Dross, Nightcrawler of the Reichsarbeitergesellschaft der Alster. Watch your tone Lancer or I blow your head all over this place ! And you see that guy there ? He tried to stop me from bringing my gun in here." The Bartender brings Mary the ordered drinks. She grabs the Beer and drinks it. "And who do you think, you are that I have to care about you?"
Xalo's expression changed as he started to get upset. "Get out of here before I break some part of you! You walk in here like you own the place, you make up some fake words to sound like a rheinlander and you start meddling in our discussion? Now get the hell out of here, before you regret coming through that door!"
The sudden appearance of a rambling woman into the bar caused tension on Hebishima, as well as his subordinates. As she shoots the floor with the gun, the two guards started to go for their guns as well, but Hebishima was quick to stop them. This was not their turf, and keeping stability was the job of the AFC.
As the roudy woman presented herself with a string of unholy terms that could only come of the mouth of some extreme nationalist activist, he understood, at least, that she worked for the Unioners, and that Sunny possibly had met her before.
Being a brash, uncultured, no-holds barred tough guy or gal seemed the norm in the Unioners in this age, only a few souls like Armin Jansen being their saving grace. Perhaps a consequence of having to deal with Corsairs, Hessians, cold weather, and the scent of scrap every day of the week, without access to any of the good stuff of the Federal Republic.
“Welcome then, miss Dross-san. We are here to discuss some of the recent events and get some ideas in place. Perhaps Sunny has told you about it, we were expecting some pointers from the Unioners as well. I'm Hebishima, from the Takarabune Conglomerate. A p...” - he made a short pause, before reformulating his sentence - “Is good to be made your acquaintance.
How fares the movement these days?”
However, the freelancer pilot was getting increasingly irritated, and he was hoping he would avoid assisting to a bar fight so sson in the evening....
