Pilot,
I hope you understand the degree of secrecy within this transmission, there are inherent risks to what the Agency is involved with, and what I am about to ask you to do.
We spoke earlier, and you showed a level of cooperation and willingness that is quite rare among Freelancers in Libertonian space. The Xenos you turned in are currently in custody, so I doubt that they will be free to cause trouble any time soon...however, that isn't what I want to speak with you about. I made you an offer, and I wish to explain it in detail.
You mentioned to me that you never remain in one place for long, but that is actually a good thing...the Agency is currently looking for reliable Freelancers, who would work to gather and transmit information regarding foreign military and/or criminal individuals, assets, or facilities to us, from across the Sirius Sector.
I believe, based on our earlier interaction, that you are a candidate fit for this program.
You would not be an employee of The Government of The Republic of Liberty, this agency, or any other branch or division of the armed forces.
You would not be given a uniform, or any title, rank, or official recognition.
Your activities would serve to protect and improve the security of our Republic, and her people, and could even be directly responsible for saving thousands of Libertonian lives.
If for some reason, your activities were discovered, you would be disavowed by our agency, and any branch or representative of the Libertonian government.
Naturally of course, you would be well paid, at an amount of no less than, and potentially much more than, one million credits, for each reliable, verifiable, and actionable, piece of intelligence that you provide to us.
If this offer still sounds like a worthy cause to you, you need only reply on this channel, from there, we can fine tune our arrangement, and establish further lines of communication.
This is the pilot you spoke to over Manhattan earlier today, under the callsign Freelancer-1. I read you loud and clear.
I must say, I appreciate you getting in contact with me. I am indeed open to work with your Agency, as a more steady source of income is always enticing to a man like myself. I typically don't bother anyone unless they bother me first. Having said that, I do what I have to to survive, and I ain't no chump. I do have a great deal of experience working as a mercenary/escort to quasi lawful and lawful organizations. Most flyers aren't friends with types like the Xenos. The feeling's mutual here. But, I can usually slip through most areas without drawing too much attention to myself from anyone.
I think you have found your man. I don't have a problem working for Liberty. I'm no fan of bullies like Gallia, the Outcasts and especially Nomads... whom would all flourish if Liberty falters. Your conditions are actually exactly how I prefer to work. I like no strings, and its true that it helps a guy like me keep my position as the joker in the deck. The type of work described seems like something I can pull off no problem. I like to ride fast, and I know most of Sirius like the back of my hand, been flying it for some time. Its the only life I know. So I keep on the move. To where... I'm indifferent, any areas you'd prefer reconnoitered can be focused on upon your orders. Stealth recon is also available, and I'm not afraid to hunt for bounty if it becomes necessary. Just say the word.

I'm glad that you've decided to move forward with us, I'm curious to know more about you, but at this time what matters is that you've accepted this proposal.
I have no particular "orders" for you, though I will ask that you refrain from engaging targets on behalf of the Agency, at least for now.
Beyond that, I would like to see you take the initiative for your first assignment. If you are in foreign territories and come across any large military or criminal assets that you think are important, or would be important for Liberty to know about, simply send the data along via this frequency, and we will get back to you.
Do well for us, and we will ensure that your life is markedly more comfortable than that of the average Freelancer.
With all that said, I have nothing further at this time, except to ask: what should I call you?
As a final note, the Director of Agency 404 may see fit to contact you on this frequency in the near future
More about me eh? Well, like many in Sirius, I got my start as an ore miner, years ago. I even ran my own company as an IMG affiliate out in the Taus. After it proved exhausting trying to run an organization, I sold my assets and gave up command to retire. My retirement didn't last forever though, and I took back up freelancing here and there to make some flow and stay sharp. I used to go by the name Alamo, Captain Alamo. Since I don't exactly captain anything but my fighter anymore, just Alamo will do. I got the name because of my 'standoff-ish' nature against Outcast raiders up in '23. I'll only do Freelance work these days though, and credits for information sounds like a good deal to me.
I was planning to head back up through the Taus, I suppose I can swing up through Bretonia and the warzone to keep an eye out for anything along the way. If anything interesting pops up, 404 will be the first to know. Don't worry I'm not exactly an itchy trigger finger type, but if you need a set of eyes or guns within range of anything or anyone in Sirius, I'm at your service. I'll be keeping an eye on this channel, so I shouldn't be far if you or your superiors need anything 'immediate'. Until then...
I hadn't made it past Leeds when I began to tail a Royal Navy vessel headed towards Magellan. It lead me to a massing of Gallic fighters at the Battleship Carcassonne. I took a few readings, and not long after the Liberty Navy and some Crayterians showed up to give them a go. I observed for a short time until the battle migrated away from the Carcassonne. It seems the battleship continues to be a thorn in the side of Allied forces in the borderworlds.
Some bystanders also took heed of the battle, even attracting a scout for the Coalition. He seemed rather intoxicated but not aggressive. He was rather curious about house activities though. I then linked up with a passing Junker gunboat and we made way for Trafalgar for safe port. The captain mentioned something about hiring me as an escort, so I'll be taking what work I can while in the area. As always, I'll be recording anything of interest.
