You and Rosseau are the ones in contact with Malta, oui? I need you to inquire on something for me.
Today while I was in Gers near the Freeport, mademoiselle Michaux of the Marine Royale came to give me a few threats and arrest me. However what really surprised me was what came next. Two pilots from Malta stopped by and started to be very agressive towards both me et Michaux.
When she was engaged, I stepped in and engaged the two fighters as well. From what they said before the fight, I'm afraid they'd have attacked me even if I had just sat there and watched, so I don't really think I had a choice there.
Alright, so you were in Gers, just minding your own business when both a member of the Royal Navy and some outcasts arrived on the scene? The Outcasts are our allies to be, and a skirmish between us doesn't bode well. I'd request you send me the logs before I bring this information to Rosseau as I need tangible proof.
Something to add, why would you fight alongside a member of the Navy? This couldn't seem to be a more foolish move. Perhaps this is why Rosseau had his doubts before we started working together, I fear this could cause such doubts to resurface.
There is no need to doubt me. The best course of action from where I was standing was to enter the fight. Think about it from my point of view. They threatened me and our business. The way he was acting, I suspect he would repeat his behaviour the next time he found us.
I had two choices. I could either engage them and hope they both died so they couldn't report back. Clearing any problems that could have come with that whole ordeal. The other option would be to ignore it or run, just to have it all happen again. What I did was the right choice, so I'd appreciate not being questioned on this again.

Hopefully you won't be suspicious of me, next time.
From just my perspective, it seems like you had an opportunity, but it's not my place to judge. I'll send this information onwards and let him deal with this. Just to say, you are right in regards to the hostility they showed, it was undue and should be addressed.
I came in contact today with a group that might interest you. From what I understand, they are called The Lane Hackers and they seem to be information brokers, operating somewhere in the Sirius sector.
Hopefully that can be of use to you and your elder.
I have to say I was glad The Council was there to try and calm down those crayterians. They are far too comfortable with firing their hull blasters at us. Maybe we could try to ask The Council more about them. They seem to get along with one another.
Its a real shame that mademoiselle Florence showed up to destroy our ships. I'll have to get another sunbeam... I think my only spare one is in Picardy.
I also heard about a group called the Hessians, by one of those pilots from The Council. Maybe it could be worth checking them out, see if there is any money to be made with them.
For once I'm inclined to agree with you, Remy. Those Crayter fools, or whatever they're called, are loose cannons. I'm glad the Council were able to make them stow their rage for just one second. Council were calm and collected, reminds me of why we're allies in the first place; if only the GRN were so reasonable heh.
I made it out the fight, barely, and my ship was worse for wear as a result. Perhaps we can talk with the Council, get these barbarians to cram it with their hostile attitude.
Oh and, if you want another Moonbeam, it's on me, friend. As Jimmy says, "Chao".
Je suis d'accord. We should talk to The Council and see if they can work as a mediator between us and those crayter-folk. If all goes well, maybe we can go about our business in that area, undisturbed.
I've made a small draft of what you could try to say to The Council.
Je suis Nathen Roux Of Marne, from the Brigands. We met two of your pilots the other day in the Gers system. I have to say it was being quite a pleasant day, until those Crayter fellas or however they are called came by.
It has not been our first encounter with them. All of which have ended in direct conflict. This doesn't benefit anyone. This conflict not only disrupts our business outside of Gallia but it also strenghens the navy's claim on the area, as the few who oppose them bicker with one another instead of foccusing on the real threat in the region.
For this reason, we'd like to ask if The Council would be willing and able to soothe this small conflict between the Brigands and the Crayter.
J'aime the way you write that. I've made some amendments to further express our point as well as add a bit more "Marne" in there. I think it sounds a little more professional - I've tried to learn what I can from Rosseau.
Nous sommes Nathen Roux Of Marne, and Remy Moreau of the Boulogne Smugglers, from The Free Brigands of Gallia. We met two of your pilots the other day in the Gers system. We are both in agreement and have to say it was being quite a pleasant day, until those Crayter fellas or however they are called came by.
It has not been our first encounter with them. All of which have ended in direct conflict. This doesn't benefit anyone. This conflict not only disrupts our business outside of Gallia but it also strengthens the Navy's claim on the area, as the few who oppose them bicker with one another instead of focusing on the real threat in the region.
For this reason, we'd like to ask if The Council would be willing and able to soothe this small conflict between the Brigands and the Crayter.
The terms of a ceacefire would need to be discussed, but we'd like to shoe in some compensation for them unjustly destroying our ships on numerious occations. I, Zero, am normally quite calm and understanding of such situations, and I don't always try and get every extra credit. Yet these damages were very costly so it would only be fair since we acted in self defence.
We are opposed to the Gallic Royal Navy and we raid their supply convoys whereever possible, but these acts by the Craytarians, who are suposedly their mortal enemies, only seem to give the GRN more power and reduce our influence within the Taus, which is key to gaining more ground and support towards the Sirian Sector.
We lack much pressence within the Taus so when our scout ships are harrased by these Craytayrian fools they are stopping us from reconing our true, mutual, enemy - the GRN. We're not trying to make this sound preachy, but we believe in good business and the Council and The Free Brigands of Gallia stretch back centeries.
Nous aimerions te remercier for reading, and hope this leads to a mutually benifical resolution.
I'll pretend I didn't hear you say that we in Picardy aren't professional enough...
Alors, I've read the changes you made. Oui, I believe we could contact The Council with that draft. Hopefully, we can get this done in the next couple of weeks and have the crayterians stop bothering us.
