This question is primarily aimed at the Vagrants and others involved with the Nomads, and secondarily at those in who have a vested interest in Nomad Space (Core, Order et al.):
Could indie Nomad players fly Marduks? The same ZoI and rules of engagement would apply that are stated on the Nomad ID.
If you consider this suggestion to be unreasonable, please make your case in detail.
Never ever.
I think think the nomad ID should be gone. Regulated to only Officials.
Too many people taking advantage of the power of these ships lately. I haven't met a Nomad who RP'ed correctly in a long time.
Also tons of 1v1 me bro people buying Nomad VHF then complain when they get teamed up on by Order/Zoner/etc.
Well, being the leader of the Vagrant player faction, I never was against indie Marduks. My voice doesn't count more than anyone else's in the community. That is not a bad thing from a fairness perspective.
The RP-role of a Marduk is just too holy as that indies should be allowed to touch it. The Marduk is one of the most evolved nomad warform and really should only be used by people who are one with the nomad roleplay, no matter if the K'hara way or the Vagrant way. That being said, currently no Vagrant yet has earned the Marduk, while we have our first Irra.
Please, just do it in Nomad ID: Can fly fighter's and gunboats, and only official faction player's can fly cruisers and Battleships class.
Sorry for my eng., but I think you understand me.
No. I've seeen a lot of nomad roleplay, but never a Marduk in roleplay. That's the point I'm getting across. That battleship should permenantly stay with official factions only and not be run around with indies. Especially the immense power it holds, no thanks. Serious abuse can come to it and I'd rather not it getting nerfed with everything else.

The same could be said of the Liberty Navy or Outcasts, yet those factions have unrestricted capital ships. While the effect of indy battleships on server RP quality has been debated for years, you can't deny it's good for activity.
At this point, I don't see any good reason to keep treating the Nomads differently from any other faction. Nomad lore is no longer some untouchable, sacrosanct ideal that its holy guardians must prevent from being sullied by the dirty, plebeian imaginations of the rest of the community, as evinced by the fact we have two Nomad factions right now -- both official, no less. Let RP run free.

Yeah, we're all happy about lolwut Ranseurs in Liberty, Nephilims and Ranseurs in the Nomicrons and Nephs in house space shooting around like idiots and the glorious people from the latest event in Xi who didn't write a single line before engaging. There are enough battleship factions around; no need to make nomads even more idiotic than they already are.
