• OBJECTIVE: Construction and deployment of a docking ring in the orbit of Planet Nauru • ASSIGNED APM PERSONNEL: Dr. E. Rosenberg • AUDIT: Director McKinsey • STATUS:Complete
Brief
After a long and expensive struggle, Planet Nauru is under the sole controll of The Core. Ever since then it has become a vital, rapidly expanding colony. For its further development it is of utmost importance to ease logistic conditions and establish permanent orbital docking facilities.
Progress
Despite the technological advancement of AP Manufacturing, it would be an arduous task to construct a docking ring entirely on our own - it would require complete redirection of our focus to this one project, leaving ship construction, fleet maintenance and research projects aside, and even then the path would be a curvy one. As The Core heavily depends on the numbers and top condition of its war machine, such an endeavour is naturally out of question. Because of this construction and deployment of this vital installation has been comissioned to Ageira Innovations. If necessary additional outside contractors will be considered.
The progress so far can be rendered as follows:
1.Securing the necessary funds - complete
As the prime shareholder of AP Manufacturing, Interspace Commerce puts much faith in this enterprise thus ensuring construction costs are covered.
2.Providing the specs - complete
All telemetrical required for further planing have been presented to and aproved by the prime contractor, Ageira Innovations. Note: due to political inconveniences the project was put on hold as not to endanger the supply chain. As the Rheinland-Liberty conflict came to a resolution, progress was resumed.
3.Supplying the materials needed - complete
For construction to commence vital parts and materials need to be delivered to the site in accordance with requirements outlined.
Components manufactured by Ageira, listed thereinafter, have been successfully delivered to Yaren base from where construction shall commence.
- 50,000 Super Alloy (Main frame of the gate)
- 25,000 Robotics (Construction machinery)
- 12,000 Berillium (For certain details of the frame)
- 12,000 Boron (For certain details of the frame)
- 12,000 Cobalt (For certain details of the frame)
- 12,000 Niobium (For certain details of the frame)
- 12,000 Plastics (For certain details of the frame)
- 7,000 Optical Chips (Control circuits and machinery)
- 7,000 Nanocapacitors (Source of energy for control systems)
- 7,000 Heat Sinks(Heat dissipation)
4.Ensuring safe transfer of the engineering crews and vessels - complete
Technical expertise of seasoned engineers and stellar architects is crucial. Ageira Innovations has therefore commissioned support from Deep Space Engineering for construction of the installation in orbit. The assigned crews and maintnance vessels must now safely reach Nauru.
5.Beginning construction - complete
Parts of the main frame can be build easily by our own construction crews. It is vital that we prepare a skeletal structure before the actual deployment of the ring mechanics, to prevent stoppage and ensure smooth transition for the DSE specialists as soon as their convoy arrives.
6.Finalizing construction -complete
Applying final touches and conducting tests to make sure the amenities are fully operational.
Standing orders 1. All APM callsings are hereby tasked with the delivery of the following materials to Yaren Base in Omicron Delta:

- 12,000 Plastics / 0 left / 40 surplus
- 7,000 Optical Chips / 0 left
- 7,000 Nanocapacitors / 0 left
- 7,000 Heat Sinks - 0 left
Since this operation is of utmost importance to our cause, AP Manufacturing offers a bonus of 2000 S.C. per cargo unit (apart from the regular compensation from the depot attendant), with the hope that it will supr to an enthusiastic completion of this task.

2. Squadron leadres are required to intensify patrols in Sigma-15, especially on the route between jumpholes to Frankfurt and Omicron Rho. Any encountered Ageira or DSE convoys heading to Core space are to be escorted to Yaren Base in Omicron Delta - safe conduct of this operation is paramount.
Documented escort missions are to be reported underneath. AP Manufacturing issues a bonus (both the primary and secondary Core forces are eligible for) in the amount 5.000.000 S.C. per kill for any undesireables shot down during escort assignments for Ageira or DSE transports. Extensive footage is required, audiologs including (//indies are additionally required to provide proof of proper ID).

as Ageira supplies are steadily filling the bays of Yaren, the operation is progressing rather smoothly so far. I wish to remind you that this does not mean we should drop our guard as we still have quite a way ahead of us. Your task to ensure blue sky for all incomming Ageira and/or DSE transports going in and out of Core space is crucial. Rewards for confirmed termination of any undesireables threatrning this operation will be issued generously.

to this date, 27.08.824, APM tasked supply runs amount to 17,83% after one week.
Yaren depot attendants confirm having received 15,6% of the Ageira/DSE tasked components.
At this paste we should be able to commence phase four within less then 5 weeks - a schedule that is only acceptable on parole. Efforts must be made to increase efficiency of logistics on part of APM.

I am pleased to note, that after less then 2 weeks since launch, the logistic progress of operation "Porta Nauru" on parts of APM already amount to 65,45% thus we seem to be back on schedule.
The current task of balancing the merchant fleet on a pendulum between regular supplies for The Core wareffort and the high priority of this project in turn has proven to be more complicated then formerly estimated. Thus I deem it necessary to outsource a minor portion of the shipments to an outside contractor. Independant haulers were considered as the most cost efficient option at first, however because of the rather delicate nature of this endeavour I refrain from taking an offer like this to the general public as it may attract the attention of undesireable elements. Instead I have chosen to propose this contract to a reliant, reputable company, viz. Borderworld Exports.
Bowex has been tasked with delivering 49,500 c.u. of super alloy from Scarborough Station, Newcastle to Yaren Base thus relieving the APM fleet by 31,73% of the total shipment outlined in this phase of the operation.
Current status of Bowex deliveries: 21,360 c.u. of super alloy have been registered with the depot attendant at this point.
