Sorry, but you don't get a say in the state of things after an opportunity like that.
I said I'm neither the person to also work on capital ship balance nor someone with enough time to provide enough work into the mod's balance at that time so I don't hypocritically turn into some other people who were on the team but barely contributed. If that means I am not eligible to voice my opinion anymore about balance then so be it, I'll remain silent. Though I guess we're back to only people who are on the dev team having any say or right to a say, the rest of us just have to enjoy what we have.

I call bullcrap. And if you are about the furry ban affecting two people negatively and dozens positevly, then even bigger bullcrap.
I'm talking past that since you think right off the bat that such was my angle and see people like such only refer to that when I speak. I'm pointing to a few words mentioned by one in the OFL chat being glad on several Blood Dragon Players not using Anime Pictures cause of 'Immersion". I'm talking about one player who's never caused the community grief as long as I've been here but I value in such high respect for his wisdom and courtesy towards other plays being forced to end one form of RP that never caused anyone harm, and then seeing another OFL member state that his main character, and possibly one of the most loved in the community, should be STRIPPED from him cause they don't like people using characters of historical people.
I warned you lot that after the ban, it would be people using Anime characters, then Movie Stars, so on so forth. I wish I was wrong for such a matter but you only prove my point more.
While I dislike it, at least anime-portrait-characters don't claim they are hand-drawn living human beings as opposed to furries claiming they are special furry snowflakes in Freelancer's setting.

Last I checked the ones who used said imagery have left cause of the actions and talk like yours Snak3. If my voice on creative freedoms is to make me a snowflake then that's the price I'll pay. Because they wont speak up I will. But like you and several others, you'll go straight to the trolling because being creative and trying something new is what you hate most you thespian troglodyte.
EDIT: And yes let's get back to topic before SNak3 foams at the mouth.

From my knowledge they were nuked along with missiles at the first great nuke of missiles on Aux Slot as the whole Aux Slot concept was rather flawed and made VHFs quite better than everything else. Then people who loved missiles complained loud enough that missiles that were easy to use (easier than torpedo) bridged the gap between pros and new players loud enough that the balance dev returned missiles in an even more turbo form (current Sidewinder and such), but for some reason torpedoes in their old form were never returned. Afaik Haste's opinion was that with their low turn rate and speed they were too unreliable and dependent on server performance to perform as intended so he gifted us the 400m/s sidewinders with huge detonation range. Of course I could be wrong, that's what it happened to my humble knowledge.
Well, that makes sense, as missilies are so much more independent from server performance. I fully understand why they are gone and hope that this horrible possibility for diversification of ingame loadouts never comes back! I do hope that CDs get removed too, they are just as horrible.
