Its just... If you enter someones territory, not being and ally, you have to have a permission, and listen to those who are "home" or be prepared for burning wellcome. They have the right. And not even mentioning hiding on Crete before Corsairs... thats the same thing as I have said , Daumann hiding on Vogland before Red Hessian - Its just TOO stupid, OOC and deserves to be reported.
... Um yeah, that wasnt really on the topic starter, I hope you wasnt hiding on Crete, just passing:P

No, when i was setting up my merc, i came from o-49, (the very long way) and as soon as i entered gamma space there was a benitez in system, so i hailed and said this
// Hey, i'm just passing to kappa to get equipment, setting up character.
//May i land somewhere for a safe dock?
He replies.
//Roger, land on tripoli only for a safe dock.
And i went on my way. But the reason i made this thread was because the said quoted guy was to open fire on anyone in his system with out a warning. thats what this thread was really about, Alaska is kos to anyone not SA/LSF and said quoted guy was implying Anyone not carsair/ally was kos. So question was. How do i get here now without going through kos space. Not tresspassing on enemy planets/bases/space. And for you that said guard systems sell (insert item), well, for a merc whom has no tag. i would get pwned entering any guard system. So for me setting up a character kappa was the best option for me. Please forgive me, i'm not flamming you folks. just thought i should be a little more detailed about the situation.

Simply use the Tohoku-Unknown-Delta route. Hokkaido has a jh to Tohoku as well as from Honshu you can go there via Kumamoto and Nagano. If you do not have the coordinates, go and explore said systems.
No need to pass through Gamma or Alaska. Since both are not the only routes, they can really be set up as restricted areas, without spoiling the fun for others.
Oh and btw, Corsairs (players) are easy to bribe. There is a certain commodity, which will make them calming down. Bring a full load and i guess you will have lesser problems. At least with TBH, Benitez and my indie Corsair chars.
Err, the Unknown route isn't that safe when there are Keepers nearby, they might get angry. However, any Corsair who denies a shipment of said commodity really ought to be killed by a firing squad made up of the people said commodity would keep from starving.
Well its not really about just "passing" I think... I know that as well, when theres Police tagged merc in Bh ship, and you see him to dock on your base, or even better - to run before you to your base and hide... the ascended ones even start swearing and laughting... Trust me THAT can make one REALLY pissed.
EDIT : I mean when you are unlawfull in your system even... I think anyone not-friendly with those who live there should ask for permission first

Ok, i have enough of this. In last weeks, everytime when i undock from Crete(watch the word, CRETE, planet, nothing near jumphole....) i have on scanner something red. and i dont mean outcast or bh attacking our home. I have enough of bounty hunter tagged fighters, or police or navy tagged FREELANCERS or MERCENARIES that are surprised when someone open fire on them. I have enough of BH ships with mercenary ID, that are surprised why i am angry when they docked on crete or Tripoli.
how can i know what ID has someone mounted without scan ???
ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID ID it mean that i first scan you, and wen you are hostile ID with hostile tag, i open fire without any word of warning.......
and as some people typed here and as i type here, when you are police and corsairs catch you in gamma you think they let you alive? or they all wait for my post hereo n disco ? no. they will hunt you.
today i saw two mercs dock on crete, one of them even with a police tag. i asked what the h*ll were they doing in there and got some lame excuses. I knew i had every right to shoot them both but didn't do anything 'cause there was one corsair with praetorian actually helping them!? :shok:
I left but decided after this incident, that from now on, when i see any unauthorized RP-foe, bh, police or merc id'd or tagged ship in gamma, i'll go bananas and they'll go nuts, literally.
' Wrote:Well i can say there is nothing on Riuku(or how does it spells), just an empty base(no bots/bats and etc). I don't know about the Arch and other possible stations, only a couple of JH(Hokkaido/Unknown).
I think corsairs won't be chasing you in Malvada cloud trying to shot you, just dont get to Crete/Tripoli and check your IFF/ID. So' it's all fine with O-Kappa, you can get here.
No stations but Riuku and Tekagi's Arch. The Arch is controlled by the "Corrupt Kusari Naval Forces", who are always red to everyone.

On setup, this can be more dangerous. Say you want to have an Order char. Going through ONE system is much, much safer than going through tons and tons of systems, and you're OoRP for a shorter amount of time.
Why is Ryuku so empty? I would expect a bunch of Blood Dragons to be there to keep and eye on Tekagi's Base (although now it might belong to the Nomads or a new Kusari governor). Also, shouldn't there be Nomad NPCs in the Unknown? After all, there is a Nomad Lair there (or did they all abandon it after Trent removed the Nomad Power Cell?).
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Tohoku has Nomad NPCs, and at some point Tekagi's base might be refurbished as a usable base of operations in Kusari. Ryuku Base is also likely to get basic supplies at the very least in the next version, or so I vaguely remember hearing. I'm not sure why the lair has no NPCs, though. It might have something to do with its un-mappable status, but Omicron Major has no such problem...
