We really need a GMG faction

Guys, this FRA event and the Sigma story arc are awesome... but without GMG, it is like a party without one of the main participants. It's not going to work.

A faction with such opportunities to be at the center of attention and development... I do not understand why no one has stepped forward to say: "Hey, I'll try".

You could definitely get a lot of experienced people to help you, but those who I talked to agree that they do not want to lead it, but would log and fly for it in this event/story arc.

So... anybody?
Potential is there. A lot. We just have to use it.

@Quanty~ is leading GMG right now but she's alone and I can totally understand her not having the will or even power to live out this powergamed war upon a playerbase smaller than the male body part of rheinlandic imperials.

If I was at her place now I'd say "screw it" and do something else. Having Core, RM and all the other troublemakers knock on Sigma-13's door would piss me off as well if nobody supported me. GMG currently has everything and everyone against it and since there is only an unofficial faction, everyone takes the chance to kick it.

Even Meph thinks this is all stupid as hell. Seriously, this conflict will be stale as hell.

Current GMG is just dead, I have no idea why Quanty is holding 1ic at this point.

Conflict would be better If Rheinland reacted with war actions instantly. Kusari is doing proper investigation and then jumping on against Rheinland to help GMG. Since it will look like violation of all Rheinland-Kusari threaties and just aggressive expansion. In the end we would have Kusari & GMG vs Rheinland & Core war. But go figure what Rhein and Ku gov are on.

Core doesn't even have ZoI there and is just as jumpy for war as Rheinland is. Kusari doesn't seem to want war at all and RM hasn't been doing that much either.

I just know there are people who would want to rp GMG, who have GMG ships, or would make some to even the difficult pvp odds, but there is not even anything like a GMG Emergency Channel, or a push to get indies on board... or to do anything (at least it looks to me like this).

It is a fact that all the Sigma-related stuff is never going to work without someone stepping up and taking GMG and making it into something again

Core is Rheinland's buddy inRP and ooRP they take advantage of an event to promote activity. While I fully understand the lack of motivation to fight all those guys, I do think it would be a waste to not use it as an opportunity for GMG to contact people, investigate, find out who is just mad at them and who is willing to listen. Forum RP didn't kill people so far.

I am really interested in trying to pool up GMG faction out there for the long run, but got exam in few days, so I can't even enjoy event as Ageira. Damn those real life obligations! But come next weekend, I will surely see through GMG lore and see if I can come up with something or someone.
