Buenos diás,
Or should I say bonjour? My name is Dr. Martinez of the University of Cambridge and I believe I have a proposal to make that you would find interesting. Of course, I can't talk about details here, though I would say that, as long as you have an interest in gaining an edge against your opponents in the Taus and Gallia proper, you will enjoy what I have to say. I can vouch for that with my scientific integrity.
Since I am entreating you, I would put the modalities of a meeting in your hands. If it is in Gallia, however, I would ask that you provide star charts for us to use, since Gallic systems are still rather unexplored for us. I hope to see you soon.
It does strike me as a tad unusual to contact us, a group that the media portrays as nothing but miserable Gallic low lives, which I'd imagine anyone hailing from Bretonia to have a strong aversion to - us in Gallia don't have the best reputation down there, yet I digress. It would be a lie if I claimed by curiosity wasn't grabbed by your way with words as I seem to find myself slightly enthralled by my own curiosity.
Your words do you some honour it would seem as they, on their own, show me that I'm speaking someone with actual intellect, a nice change of pace. I find it refreshing that you're even willing to consider a more personal interaction. Depending on how sensitive the information is, there is a wide array of location that we could arrange a meeting. In the event of the desire for maximum privacy, I can arrange for you to come to a secure Brigand base within Gallia. You have my word that nothing bad will come of it, provided there is no foul play from your part.
I must also ask before venture further into these pleasantries, what are your relations with the crown, or any Gallic entities for that matter? A man in my position must remain ever vigilant and observative, I'm sure you understand.

I think you must have gotten the wrong impression.
Not being Bretonian by birth, I think I have an understanding of how Bretonians perceive Sirius as a whole. The war with the Gallic Crown has been going on for years now, and it has made the population weary. It has also instilled a sort of primal hatred towards their enemy that is only natural after so many years of bloodshed. While it may not be rational, anyone opposing the Crown alongside Bretonia is seen as someone who could potentially be a friend.
Whether you actually are a ragtag bunch or not does not matter. The people know of your opposition to the Crown, although fleetingly, and approve, because we are fighting the same enemy. I myself and my associates have no ties to the Crown and do not intend to change that in the future — we owe that much to our countrymen. In a way, I believe that many have a rather romantic view on the Brigands, comparing them to the Bretonian Privateers.
In any case, however, I would like to offer you the only thing a woman like me can provide: Knowledge. I will submit to any procedure you see fit to arrange a personal meeting. If you want, we can wait at a Freeport and wait for your men to pick us up and bring us to where you want to meet. I will have a gift for you.
I see I was correct in my assumption as you've clearly done your research. You know the fragile nature of the region well it seems, but that makes me question why you wouldn't go to some group in a more powerful position, like the Council. That being said, however, I'm not against any possible transaction as my words may make it seem. We Brigands live to make deals after all.
If you're alright with being escorted into and around Gallia, head to Freeport Six and I'll order one of my lessers to pick you up. I'll have you brought to Planet Marne, the heart of Brigand operations. I cannot promise you'll meet me face to face, but in the event that doesn't happen, I'll make sure you are speaking with my second in command - I wouldn't desire for you to be in any situation you might find discomforting by talking to some low intellect fool who understands nary a single word of what you say.
