I've brought this up a few times. Apparently macro's that do text actions like messages and in game commands are fine. but anything that helps you pvp or move your ship is bad. Appaaaarently.
But to go one step further I'd also say using minimalist huds are cheating.

Pretty much this.
Macros on our server can be used for coordinate applying for jumpdrives, managing commands for bases or other convenience related actions.
Macros such as chainfiring for guns, boxing, trading algorythms and other should be reported and all such kind of instances will be treated as cheating.

Just to clarify becasue this was not clearly stated in green: managing commands for bases applies only in times of peace or does it also apply in siege situations?

If you mean using a cloaked ship to move platforms around, no.
How 2 identify when player is cheet with macaroon like for chainfire?
Ho 2 identify when player is cheet by using hud smaller than vanilla hud which give advantage for when bad player hide behind hud icons and is not easy to be shot.

Sober up, lad.
In actuality, macros are usually identifiable from "button mashing" faster than humanly possible.
If a player is hiding behind your HUD, you can minimize it with Backspace (default)
