STATEMENT: It has been a substantially long time since the Republic of Liberty (RofL) has shown ANY response to my, and other, requests. In fact it has been two whole MONTHS since RofL have taken any action on granting Base construction licences.
Further, the RofL has been excessively tardy when it comes to responding to anything.
This is scandalous and a disgrace!
DECISION: As I am a woman of action, it has become expedient to advance my cause and deal with issues with RofL retrospectively. Please advise me, when you have gotten the lead out, that you are active again. In the mean time, and in light of the precedent established by the Liberty Security Force to build without permission with the intent to deal retrospectively with the RofL, I intend to do the same.
Well, the last message seemed to kick some butt... action at last, although I despair at the extreme bias displayed.
Why is it that you approved Dagger Complex in less than two minutes after giving Scrap Palace the green light, and you processed 4x applications. But you ignore my application. Now that I managed to get the R-of-L administration to do something, I was thinking, "Great! No need to preempt building my Pub, they would surely action my request.", but nothings happened and typical, not a word, not a squeak. Like when I asked for a stay of execution - no service, no response, nothing.
Your call is very important to us. Please ho-*bzzt!* Ah. So they didn't respond to you. Quite rude, one would note.
However, when you address something to the Republic of
Liberty, you tend to accidentally address those of its citizens
who know how to read what their tax credits are being spent on.
Dagger Complex is a matter of public record; it is a project of the
primary fleet of the Liberty Security Force, and they command
an extraordinary amount of influence in the halls of government.
In this case, it is my firm belief that the Republic of Liberty is
choosing to ignore you. Regardless of the morality of their decision,
they must realize that their actions serve only to alienate those that
would pay their upkeep. Ask the so-called bureaucrats just what you
are doing wrong. Then work to rectify it. Politeness can work wonders.
To: Unknown Agony Aunt.
Thank you for your advice. I guess I am emphatic if not blunt. Some may say to the point.
I am at a loss to understand how I am being rude to the R of L (Unless the use of an acronym to save space).
What I do not understand is why they never respond in any correspondence I initiate. Heck, I am only too willing to pay for a piece of liberty, which I am sure the citizens of Liberty would only be too willing to accept.
To: Republic of Liberty.
What am I doing wrong that you choose to ignore me? Tell me so I can make it right!
Would the PUBLIC SERVANT in charge of getting the Department of Trade and Economics out of bed get on with it? There are Citizens of Liberty who want their public purse spent on efficiency. Could you please send to the right person that I am still WAITING for a reply.
