I showed up to spectate in a Corse freigher, and, against a half-dozen or so light fighers, ended up winning the first blind-jump race! Shame I wasn't enrolled in the race, so they had to do another one. This time I enrolled, and after the jump, took another shortcut , but was beat out by @"Sombra Hookier" by seconds, in Coronado and then Baffin.... So close to 250 mill on a (back then) closed economy character.....
That really was one of the best events ever. Kudos again for that.
Double razoring Golanski on a BD| tagged gunboat by accident while we we're shooting an IMG| convoy in Tohoku is the earliest memory I have of Discovery, and it felt absolutely hilarious. Everything before it is rather foggy. But I can't just point at one thing and say that was the best time I ever had, because I made quite a few fond memories in this shitty community contrary to popular belief.
Like the first time I joined Core, felt like a nerd being asked to sit at the cool kids table, and I had a lot of fun playing Ivy back then, as well as misspelling yawn with jawn. Me and Chuba constantly being at eachothers throats back then as well is what I'll remember for life. Literal daily kys' and suggestions on how to do it being tossed around. Now he's my best boi. The XTF vs. everybody event after which I approached Iber about the clan, the event being followed by my XTF recruit days and the Chinese Wise Man's words that came with the training, the anxiety I felt when I was taking the final "test" or how I should call it, and when Iber officially labeled my fighting style as a "glass cannon". The beginning of Venks Interspace which evolved from Thunderbolt Trading Company iirc, and the large ass Mastodon convoys that came with it (besides Shen, he flew a Shire for some reason). The absolute fun I had flying Wisp with daddy Protogey, and the disappointment that came with the officialdom failing and myself being forced into inactivity straight after ([W] is still the only faction in Discovery besides JM|- that I had fun with in every possible aspect). I'll also never forget the first few XTF raids I was a part of, 10 IMG vs. the 4 or 5 of us.
Honorable mention to the 343 fiasco and the Lynx/Chimera catgirl squad. (^:
It is rather a period of time. I do not remember the version of the update. But I often found it interesting to fight Mitchell. I was then a noob, so I almost always died. And I somehow decided to take it by number, not quality. But his friends from the Rogues came to his aid and helped him.
In the end, we lost, and I was freaking out. xD
For me it was the best time! At that time, I learned a lot - to play on cruisers, play in a team (at least somehow, but barely learned xD). What is most important - I realized that even if the fight is not in your favor, you must fight to the end. And it does not matter what will be the end - defeat or victory. If you are in battle, then be kind fight to end.
2009 and 2010, the insane days of the Neo Terran Front. Appropriately, it was capped off by an absurd battle that occurred right before school picked up for the year.
It's kind of hard to top a giant ten-sided flaming apocalypse that spirals out of control for no apparent reason.
In terms of 2017, my favourite moment was time of the peace conference between Core, CoF and FP11 Zoners and the resulting Port Carthage project, with all the forum and ingame RP around it. Loved it.
