I apologize for the abrupt message. I would need your help. There has been a strange Gallic woman calling herself Nathalie who contacted me a day prior, claiming to be involved in some sort of work relationship with you regarding the process of cloning. I will attach a copy of the message below for you to verify. If this was indeed a scam, I do apologize for wasting your time, but this is the only way for me to verify their claims.

This is not a scam, despite all appearances. I spoke to Nathalie some days ago, who mentioned she would be issuing support for the highly confidential project we are beginning to develop. Given the attached comm you provided, this confirms her statement of support, though also raises some flags.

Before I provide any information regarding the project, your comm seems to indicate you are not too familiar with Nathalie? Might I ask who you are, and your background? She would not have sent you to me without good reason, but given your word choice I'd like to inquire a bit to ensure we are on the same page and can move forward.

'On the same page' seems a bit far right now, to be honest. I do not rightly know anything besides that this Nathalie apparently thought I was the right person for a project of yours that involved cloning, and, without wanting to boast, she could probably not have contacted someone more qualified from the faculty.

I hold Professorship in the fields biology and engineering at the University of Cambridge, and a person like you would probably have no problems identifying me in the scientific community given that I released more than three hundred papers about my subjects. To be honest, I am not quite sure what else to tell you here. What is this about, Mr. McCool?

Good day Prof. Martinez -

My apologies then, as I wrongly assumed you and Nathalie were acquaintances. Though given your background, I can see why she reached out to you. Quite impressive to say the least.

I will provide you with some small details to whet your appetite so to speak. Advances are constantly being made to provide technological advances for military and civilian use. New cloaking technologies, jump drives, reactive armor plating, etc. But what about advances on a more biological level? We create armor for protection. Why not bio-engineer skin to react to an impact and cluster cells to protect vital organs? We build machines to lift heavy materials for construction. Why are we not providing these manual laborers the enhanced strength to lift such on their own? Of course these are but examples, but the effort I am leading is to delve into the possibilities for organic advances, which includes cloning of the samples created in our labs and see what can be achieved. I know what was just mentioned is nothing new. But my team has the ability to realize such extravagant theories and ideas, and we are setting up a facility to begin such work as we speak.

Should the above be of interest to you, come to Freeport 11, and I will have someone meet you there to bring you to our facility. I will provide warning though. This effort is strictly confidential and should you accept, you will be provided with information and knowledge I promise you is not found at the University of Cambridge. As such, once at our facility, leaving will be prohibited until our work is complete, in order to ensure the project details does not fall into the wrong hands and our work used in a manner that would have disastrous effects.

I must admit, you have my attention. I have booked a flight to Omicron Delta and will be arriving within the week. If it had been anyone else proposing a slightly dodgy 'confidential' project like this, I probably would not have considered it, but your reputation as an honest man precedes you and so I will put stock in that. Reputation is the only commodity we really hold in the scientific community anyways.

Please forgive the delay, and the extra week you have spent on Freeport 11. I hope you were treated well, and accommodations provided were up to your liking.
