Pennsylvania in Conflict!

The Republic of Liberty was shocked today when elements of a terrorist group styling itself the Zoner Alliance deployed a massive army of Marines to seize Bethlehem Station. Estimates by experts have put the amount of Marines fielded to be around 50,000. Currently Bethlehem Station is occupied by this massive army, but Zoner Alliance spokesmen have explicitly stated their intention to retake the entire system for their ideals.



A statement by their public relations department was released this morning.

We intend to secure what is rightfully ours from the Libertonian oppressors, who threatened their way into power and started bleeding us dry. We have had enough. The Zoner Alliance stands for every Zoner in the Pennsylvania System, who have been rewarded for their acceptance of Liberty with oppression and betrayal. We will re-take our system from the false overlords, and they will tremble. All civil traffic, as long as you are not running Arms to the Libertonian jackboot, will be left alone. Our quarrel is with the people making decisions on Manhattan, and by extension the people wearing the uniform of the enforcers of their will. Our ultimatum is simple: Release Pennsylvania from your iron grip, or you will be punished. You will be permitted to retain Philadelphia as a consulate for Libertonian citizens, with whom we have no quarrel, who choose to live instead under our benevolent guidance.
