Patrols operating in Shikoku system, House Kusari, have recently located an unstable singularity thanks to a civilian vessel whose pilot requested Kusari Naval Forces assistance for a splinter group of Zoners.
Elements of 53rd scouting squadron were subsequently sent to gather information and make a situation assessment, which lead to the discovery of your Freeport, as well as another base of operation of unknown origin.
From what was gathered by our scouts, your community appears to be suffering attacks from a terrorist group, designated as the Defilers. Battleship Myoko command has reported sightings of vessels matching this very designation in Shikoku system, which were found violating Kusari Legal Codex sections 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 5.1 and 5.5, as well as cooperating with organizations defined in section 6.1, thus exposing themselves to immediate arrest upon encounter by State Police and Naval Forces in House Kusari.

Battleship Myoko command has been warned about the significantly unstable nature of that singularity leading to the area you made your home in. Assets are currently being dispatched to secure the area and ensure civilians safety.
That said, the Admiralty appears divided regarding the level of assistance that should be sent to support you. House Kusari has its own issues to resolve, and its own civilians to guarantee safety of.
In order to take a final decision, the Admirals circle would be grateful to receive more information from your organization, and in particular : - Your group history and your area of origin.
- A population census.
- Defense assets owned by your organization.
- Your organization current situation.
- Your organization priorities.
- Your defense forces strategy.
- Your organization logistic strength.
- Any information gathered about hostile elements operating in the area you made home in.
The Admiralty would also like to know if you are in need of critical supplies. Humanitarian assistance has already been agreed on, if need be.
NB: Please deliver your response to the scouting vessel that delivered this message, so that he can return it to Battleship Myoko, Shikoku system.
Respectfully, Office of the Admiralty,
Kusari Naval Forces.
Incoming transmission from: The Pioneer, Administrator Suarez
Dear Kusari Navy Admiralty,
I hope you can apologise the delay! I've been so swamped with all those requests and messages that I must have missed this one entirely. Of course that shouldn't have happened but I'll do my best to answer you now.
- Your group history and your area of origin.
We've come from all over Sirius. We're Zoners who grouped up to build a home here 17 years ago. We sold the ore mined here and harvested fuel from the clouds which is available in trace amounts. I think about 8 years ago or so the last jump connection died down. 3 years ago those pirates arrived and eventually began to rob and attack us ever since.
- A population census.
I really cannot tell you definite numbers. We should be barely a thousand people now.
- Defense assets owned by your organization.
The Freeport is armed. Then we mounted the heavy weaponry from our carrier ship onto stationary platforms so the ship was mobile without sacrificing the defense of the freeport.
- Your organization current situation.
I think you saw now. We're not well off but there's many Sirians who seem to be willing to help us.
- Your organization priorities.
We want to survive first and foremost. If we can do that then we'd like to return to living as we used to.
- Your defense forces strategy.
Ah- to be honest we don't really have one. We have a few ships but when fuel runs low we don't really use them. The Pioneer is mostly stationary these days.
- Your organization logistic strength.
We have two transports moored and freighters probably. That's really it. Though the Pioneer has some cargo space too of course.
- Any information gathered about hostile elements operating in the area you made home in.
They're very well armed and defended. They used to have bigger ships, stronger ones. From their bosses. Once those vanished they attacked us soon after. We really are no soldiers. We cannot tell you more.
Thank you for the information provided.
Battleship Shokaku will remain close to your Freeport to protect the civilian population that took refuge there. Please contact Shokaku's quartermasters if you are in need of vital supplies, such as food or medical supplies.
Respectfully, Office of the Admiralty,
Kusari Naval Forces.
