Maquis faction: Gauging interest

So who here would be down for something like this? I'm talking 2009 oldschool era style stuff. Simple ranks, simple goals, simple people. Its a really fun, direct, and simple faction in general, and as the plot continues to progress, they're going to have an opportunity to become much more integral. It could be a hell of a time to play a French space terrorist.

If I see IMG| getting active again, I could consider it. That or Outcasts (unless Maquis are allied with Outcasts).

I don't know their ZOI right now but the last time I checked, the Taus were pretty much the only place they could go which had activity.

You know my thoughts on the topic already, Justin, but I'll mention it here as well.

I LOVE the idea of playing Maquis. I did back in the day, when Gallia was only border worlds and activity was at its peak, and it was buckets of fun. Many opportunities for great RP and PVP were there, and still are, as a strong Gallic unlawful component is, to me, all Gallia needs now to really take off.

The only reason I'm not making a Maquis faction of my own is because of my role as MRG leader. I don't want to be 1iC of opposite sides for a myriad of very good reasons. But should any of you feel up to that task, please contact me. I know a good deal about the Disco and RL lore that the Maquis is based upon and have plenty of ideas and suggestions to make it a cool faction that would be fun for everyone. So whoever you are, you already have my full support.
