Leviathan nodded as Doc spoke. "His sanity was lost with that world." he'd say. "If you define yourself by your power to end lives, you're nothing but a weapon. Weapons are tools that others use, and sooner or later tools get thrown away and you're left with nothing. I remember you telling me about that individual whom you were assisting in attempting to remove an incubi. Did you ever find out of it worked or if they even survived?"

Leviathan would watch as the two browsed the recently set up shops of non-combatant personnel. He'd look around the courtyard as people went about their daily business. As John turned back to him, he'd nod in response. "We'll visit the monastery, firstly. While our society isn't inherently religious, the Worshippers of Irene are rather beneficial. A large portion of their contribution is education. They're not permitted to enforce religious beliefs on the youth we take in. It's an option. They also house one of the largest data archives in Ismara. Scribes work with them, as well as R&D and our more illusive Zeta Section, to evaluate and analyze new technological samples that are brought in from the field." He'd explain.

Leviathan would begin making his way towards another tram platform, gesturing for the good Doctor to follow. "I hope your companion doesn't get lost. It's quite nice to see people willing to explore. Usually they see us and run."

Doc nodded about the subject of weapons as he was in full agreement. He had seen a lot in a surgical ward and in emergency medical situation all over Sirius. He didn't add too much to it until he asked about the removed incubi.
"I never attempted to remove the incubi that day," he explained. "I don't really know IF the patient was infected for sure or if it was a reverse action to an experimental procedure. Did they survive? I still do not know as that person, after she settled down, was released. I had no medical reason to keep her. I am a doctor, not a prison warden. I can only hope that she is living a good life somewhere."

He was impressed by both what he was seeing and hearing. With so many groups in Sirius and Gallia, a good many of them had things that they would force upon people, the law being the least of them. The Outcasts forced the use of cardamine to prove loyalty, the Corsairs forced women into sterilization and the houses had conflicting laws to the point where people found themselves a smuggler somewhere.
He appreciated how religion wasn't mandatory. In Doc's mind, it was all too often used as a reason for war.
"I require only one thing of Med Force personnel and that is that each member be injected with a bio stability monitor in the event they become lost or hurt. That way, I will always be able to find them."

Doc also took an interest in the technology of what he was looking at. For all of his abilities, technology was alien to him. Sure, he could use equipment and run it but to build or fix it, a technician he was not.
"I would like to get more involved with this technology of yours," he explained, "I have a chief engineer who would love this, that and I recently have been working with someone to improve existing medical equipment and of course, I would very much like the opportunity to possibly share and or do some research together.

"I hope your companion doesn't get lost. It's quite nice to see people willing to explore. Usually they see us and run."
Doc snickered at this. "Nichole will be fine. She just likes a good look around. I need to give her more shore leave."
As he spoke of her, he was watching her. She was a shapely woman and he said to Leviathon, "She was with the Rheinland military before she was forced to resign over a suit there. She is also a model in her spare time hence why she never married or had children. She's enjoying herself and I will not take that from her." He then gave him a reassurance, "She will not run from you. On the contrary. You have made her feel at home here so do not be surprised if she makes frequent visits as will I."

Leviathan shrugged at his response. "I suppose I may have remembered our conversation incorrectly. It's no matter, though. There was nothing you could've done to keep her, nor would anyone blame you for letting her go."

He continued on at a brisk pace with Holliday, heading to the rail. Another tram would pull into the station and people would begin unloading from it. Unlike much of the other areas, many of these people were adorned in purple and black ceremonial robes, bearing some resemblance to monks. As they walked, Leviathan continued to listen as he discussed the stability monitor. "Past initiation, each member of Auxesia is implanted with a network chip for vital monitoring and tracking for recovery in case of capture or worse. Some people have been theorizing turning those chips into a network node for neural communication with the AI that we work with, but too much needs to be done before we can divert resources to such an endeavor." He'd explain. Leviathan took a step onto the tram and waited for The Doctor to follow.

"We've always appreciated the idea of cooperating with people for scientific endeavors, be they technological or biological. Sometimes even theoretical. Your interest in improving medical equipment might correspond with Venator Glass, who in the earlier years of our society was the Chief Medical Officer on board our flagship. Since then, he now manages the medical centers across the Covenant, from Ataraxia to Ismara. Anything medical goes through him or Maria Calvo, formerly of Canaan." Leviathan continued. The tram would seal up once they had boarded and took off down the rail. Much like their point of entry, the tram had to cross a large gap, and was suspended from the rail above. Another outcrop of buildings surrounding a large Spire which was clearly a part of the city's shield grid was their apparent destination.

"As I had mentioned earlier, the both of you are more than welcome to do so and even invited to take up residence among us if you so choose."

He ignored the offer of residence, at least for now. Rather, he found a common ground on chipping.
"You are not the only one who chips his people," explained Doc, "each member of Med Force Enterprises is implanted with a bio stability monitor." He then reached into his pocked and produced a small box. Opening it, he handed one to Leviathon.
"It is a simple device, really. I had it only modified to where we can track someone. It has really helped us with our people spread around Sirius and even Gallia. And as morbid as it sounds, I implant it so that even if someone is killed or loses a body part or both, we can still find them. I can get you some if you want them."

Doc took in the view. "So impressive how your people are adapting a building up. I am not one for technology but I am very impressed indeed." He walked with his hands behind his back.
"I will not have a problem finding medical personnel who would like to take up residency here.
