The talks with the Apostatas have reached a point where it is possible to begin negotiations of specific terms. From the few messages exchanged, they seemed open to reconciliation, and eager to begin cooperation. They are in dire need of assistance, and have spoken to me in a plain and straightforward manner. I detected no deception or ill will from their side. I believe this represents a unique opportunity for development of long-lasting ties, and, if they were successful in their quest, the potential for quelling the savagery of the Corsair nation in the long term. The channel and its archived contents are now fully available to you.
Your conversation with them has proven to be a most interesting read. It is clear that I judged these Corsairs too soon, I guess it would only take time for some of their people to realise that there is more to life than eating each other.
Their primary concern seems to be the maintenance of repairs of their capital vessels, I do not, and doubt I ever will be willing to share the location of Mito Shipyards with them, however, the Jita Manufactory may provide a solution here.
Plating and resources can be shipped from Mito to Jita, I'd request a team of 30 engineers from Hikone to accompany the main company from Mito who will be based on the installation. I understand that repairs won't be the same quality nor completed as fast as if they were able to utilize Mito but we simply do not know these peoples.
I am happy to hand over the government of the manufactory in exchange for space-bound support against the Samuran and KNF influence within Nagano and a share of the food supplies from Tomioka if their ground forces are happy to settle and fight alongside ours on the planets surfaces. These offers can be accepted individually or collectively.

I am glad you were able to see this situation from my perspective. And you are wiser still to not completely abandon suspicion. They hail from a hostile and savage world after all; But if we disregard all human sympathy, are we better in the end? No matter, time will tell. As my part in this was by no means small, I feel that I must see the situation through to the very end, whatever that end may be. I will thus gladly provide a team of engineers to help expedite the repair project, even if it will cripple production at my facilities for a time. I will be following the situation eagerly, as it develops.
Your support to the Shoguns interests is refreshing, you are indeed a trusted Daimyo. Although your agreement to the engineering demand was appreciated it would not be in our interest to "Cripple" your clan's production at this time. Instead, Shogunate engineers will make up the entirety of the engineering corp heading out to the Jita Manufactory and a much smaller quantity of expert engineers from Hikone will be provided to oversee and manage the Shogunate engineering corp. I forward these options to the Corsairs, I am most interested to see if they accept.

The engineering team is standing by, in case the Apostatas accept the agreement. In the meantime, I took the liberty of contacting the Gas Miners Guild in hopes of opening new areas for cooperation in the Sigma cluster; and facilitating our expansion towards the region. Particularly, I asked for permission to construct a small base of operations on their newly acquired world of Kurile, from where our vessels could counter Samuran and Corsair influence, and use it as a stepping stone towards new frontiers.
As it is now, access to the planet is limited, as the docking ring - damaged in the fighting - is still undergoing repairs. The Guild has contracted the Ageira Technologies for this project, and I believe we should restrain from attacking their shipments to help expedite the process. The rewards for this patience would be many, as I firmly believe this is an opportunity that opens new territories for the Shogunate, and helps cement our status as the legitimate government of Kusari.
