Pilot ID: Comm ID register as Captain Ben Laowai
Corsair Cruiser Xibanya Nuren, Gunboat: Outsider,
Pilot ID Corsair Titan reg: Old Laowai.
Greetings my brothers.
Well.. finally. After all your bickering and squabbling, your blaming of each other for the woes that beset our people and inability to form a unified body that anyone can agree on you finally have agreed on something. I supposed congratulations are in order. Conserving our fuel? or adding the the bureaucracy I'm not sure but i must offer my whole hearted congratulations for this stellar contribution to the war effort.
You all know my position on such a move. I have voiced it time and time again, both privately and in the council chambers.
I will NOT under any circumstances fire on ANY corsair vessel properly marked and tagged. Enforce this tyranny on your own i will have no part in it.
Furthermore, there is a part of my body located at my rear i would sooner register with your "registration" board before i registered my ships here. My crew and i have bled and fought countless times in the defence of our people and our nation, good men and woman have died onboard seeking glory for themselves and their families. Register my ships you say? You will see my name signed on your registry the day you remove my hand and sign it yourself, To dishonour noble corsairs this way by subjecting them to Rheinland style legalism is outrageous.
I am a Corsair captain, i support my crew, and what i take from the Corsair fuel supplies i supply myself or have it within my power to have those supplies brought to me. Linger around the home system waiting for an escort? Are we children now? frightened to come out from under our beds lest we are covered by "support"? I will take my ship to where i choose and when i choose, i will not wait for an escort, i will not refrain from entering a house system if i am so provoked to do so and if you all wish to frolick at home waiting for "escorts" that is your own business.
I do not need to be lectured by some Brotherhood or OPG whelp about the intricacies of corsair and capship diplomacy, a subject on which i know more of than most, and the effect my vessel can have in a house system, nor will i be treated like some greenhorn captain promoted above his station so fast he couldnt tell you the way to New London.
No Gentlemen, i have always been a free captain with a love for his people in his heart and the fortunes of his crew in mind, so regardless of your "Decree" i will captain my vessel and my crew as i have and as i see fit.
My Ships and i have always stood ready beside any corsair at any time and in any place. This is my creed. Those of you who are old enough know it as well. This will never change - and if you as corsairs now need to force your captains to sign a scrap of paper as a test of their "loyalty"....
