Richard listened Leto's proposal. It was a sound plan however put too many at risk. Whether it was necessary or not was up to debate as well. Admiral stood up and focused the projector on the Gate. "Leto, your plan is sound. However i am not sure if we need such a complicated plan and six whole groups. We can definitely send snubcraft swarms and deploy one or two Zephyr." He drank some water and continued.
"Try to make your plan a wee bit simpler and we can start deployment i think. Anyone having more ideas?"
Makoto remained sitting in his seat while both of the men had their talk. Indeed the fact that they could have multiple NEMPs influenced his plan by quite a bit.
"Actually, Admiral, if I may."
He stood up and after clearing his throat he showed the map of Tau-23.
"Since you have brought to my attention we can have multiple of these I do think I can suggest a few things. One of these could be used on the Leeds jump gate in Tau 31, while a second one is used on the Languedoc jump gate in Tau 23. That way we are basically cutting the Gallic forces within these two systems from any outside reinforcement. If we do get our hands on any more of these, of course the next targets would be the garrisons.
At this time Commander Leto's plans can come in effect. With slight alterations since we wouldn't have to worry about anything coming from the jump gates. However I must agree with the Admiral, actions such as kamikaze attacks are a last stand action, and while the pilot has a chance to return to his home base, he is not suppose to use it.
We will also need a similar action plan with Tau 31. I believe the Council should play a larger part in taking of this system due to the connections to Roussillon both within this system, as well as the one in Tau 29 which would allow approach from there. Battlegroup Helios would assist them in this, making rapid strikes with the reinforcement we can provide from Coronado.
Sirs I do believe we should pull as much as we can for this. The quicker we deal these bastards a defeating blow, the sooner we will see their front lines in Magellan and Cortez crumble.
With that he nodded slightly and after sitting down would take a sip from his glass, looking at the two for their response.
Leto listened and also he noted the observations made
"Admiral and Commodore, yes, maybe my plan is complicated but I am from the Old Colonial War Academy and there I was trained to use enough force to secure a win and touch our objectives. We must use the exact amount of force to leave no doubt about our resolve and power. When I proposed the Kamikaze attacks, I must remind you that I was on the last Battlegroup that hold the Gaul advance in Tau 44 and we were ordered to issued those attacks as last act. That bought us the time our transports needed. We must be ready to achieve our goal by any means necessary. If one life can be spared to save 100, we must do it. " he stopped and realized he sounded a bit harsh but war was making him like that "Me and my men, we are ready and we understand it. And again I am saying that must be used as a last resort technique."
He pointed towards the Commodore
"And yes, now that we were told that there are more then one NEMP, maybe we can use it to our advantage. Also, what Council are saying ? Are they on board with this operation?"

Richard listened Leto, nodded with understanding and knowing the ways of pre-exodus command, he thought about kamikaze attacks as well. This was not a time for chivalry nor honor. This was a time of war in all its brutality. If something was to be done they would do it. "Yes, Commander. I believe you are right and we have to take the risks. If we can save lives with one live, that one brave soldier shall be sacrificed." Pointed at his cybernetic eye that was distinguishable by its red dot on the center. "Let me tell you a story, Leto. Just after the Second Exodus, we swiftly and rapidly mobilized the military and combined its leftovers from Tau 44. I was assigned to Thanatos Styx at that time. After a daring attack on a Valor at Tau 23, we had to board it. I joined the boarding myself. Yes, i could choose to stay aboard the ship as its Captain. Yet i did not. In the boarding we lost brave men and i had my eye literally got punctured by the gaul scum. All to save the incapacitated Lieutenant in front of me... if i had to do it again, i would not think one second." He returned from the flashback of event in three seconds and continued talking. "Latest update from General LaFlamme includes an attack on RNS-Dax. If we can coordinate that with our intended attack, we can deal a heavy blow to them."
Makoto had listened to the two men talk about their past, thinking about his at same time. Indeed kamikaze attacks could be good, but only if such a action will surely do good.
"I can not say that I know how it was for you in those old days, but know that I've seen my share of brutality in war. However I will leave the decision on the kamikaze attacks up to you, although I do not support them, unless it is the only thing a pilot can do in his situation.
He cleared his throat a bit and drank from his glass, taking a moment to reconsider his words.
"I suppose attacks at different places within the Gallic territory might be a plan too? If we can hurt the Gauls within the Taus ourselves, perhaps the Council forces should be focused on another part? An attack deep within their territory is something they are very much capable of, and it would only further strain the Gallic Navy."

Richard listened the Kusarian Commodore and thought. Analyzed possibilities. He took a sip of water and started to talk. "Simultaneous attacks to put a strain on Gallia. Possible and makes our job easier. Good thinking." He took another sip of water and continued. "Anyone having more innovative ideas?"
